The gunman who killed two people at a Maryland mall was a teenage skateboarding enthusiast who had no criminal record before he showed up at the shopping center armed with a shotgun, plenty of ammunition and a backpack filled with crude homemade explosives, authorities said Sunday.
Darion Marcus Aguilar, 19, took a taxi to the Mall in Columbia in suburban Baltimore on Saturday morning and entered the building near Zumiez, a shop that sells skateboarding gear. He went downstairs to a food court directly below the store, then returned less than an hour later, dumped the backpack in a dressing room and started shooting, police said.
Shoppers fled in a panic or barricaded themselves behind closed doors. When police arrived, they found three people dead—two store employees and Aguilar, who had killed himself, authorities said. …

Sounds like “blaze of glory” time. It’d be interesting to see a timeline of his personal life for the past 6 months, together with his internet history over that same time.

The odd part is that this is not the pattern with black criminals. He was acting like a white school shooter (or a muslim). This ia an affluent area. He will likely have many shooter video games, and be taking perscription medication. This is completely different than knockout game attacks.
Tony Hawk is the exception to the rule. I’m going on 58 years, I’m not much of a sports fan, but even I have heard of Hawk. He made a complete career from his hobby and was quite good at it. The average man will start job hunting at that age or study something with potential of: supporting a good upper middle class life. Maybe the shooter was stuck doing little boy activities and this girl wanted a man to date, not some penniless kid. I admit I don’t know the whole story. This girl had just been hired as manager of that store. Maybe she responded in some way that made the shooter feel small, and made to look as insecure as he felt inside.
Skateboarding and skating are two different sports. Dumb headline.
I would have to think it was personal. I also think that, as seems to me often to be the case, he was shocked and sickened by his own actions, and put an early end to his planned mayhem.
I think this was the case at Columbine. Even though they did kill a number of people, they were in a position to kill multiple times that many, except that the whole thing was going sour for them.
Even the Newtown shooter quit after a point, although it seems he did keep at it for a long time, an indication of the depth of his psychosis, as I see it.
The joker guy was similar, truly nuts.
I was also wondering if being an avid skater, was an attempt to try and make it look better for him. I noticed his name, but I will not say anymore about it. I don't want someone to throw a race card at me.
The one thing the MSM never confirms, denies or says anything at all about is whether people who suddenly go berserk like this are taking psychotropic Rx meds.
A typical black criminal would not commit suicide. They would try to escape and survive. A muslim would commit suicide, but only at the last resort before getting caught, trying to do as much damage as possible. This was acting like a white school shooter.
Boy king Obama even let Tony Hawk skateboard through the white house. I lost all respect for Hawk when he did board through “the peoples house.”
He kept journals, which is generally a sign of someone deeply disaffected for one reason or another. He was a skateboarding enthusiast who shot up a skateboarding store. My guess is that he had some axe to grind with the store and at least one of its employees, and that, being suicidal, he decided to kill two birds with one stone.
I lived in the shadows of DC for three years. You cannot find a single case of a young black punk who commits suicide. You can find dozens of case during that period I was there....where they killed the girlfriend or wife, or went after people who threatened their business. Go and look over into Baltimore....same story there.
I would agree...Muslims or mentally ill white guys are the only ones that end up in some suicidal scheme. Go look for black mass shooters....you just won’t find any, unless it was a drug-deal gone bad.
Yes I was wondering about who he listened to or what groups he may have been involved in or what if any drugs he may have been taking. Seems odd that a guy who was described as nice and quiet just goes off like that.
If I didn’t know better I would think someone has been in his head telling him to do it. It reminds me of the movie
