“Keeps getting elected in a state (NY) where a Democrat would have to be caught in flagrante with a pig to be voted out.”

If the “pig” is human, it’s Clintonesque. If the “pig” is actually a pig, it’s a resume enhancer; tolerance, inclusiveness et al.

Amen to that - it is so true! Citizens do not need the Tea Party to realize that the government has overstepped its boundaries and is now the biggest threat to our liberties.

However, thank God for the emergence of the Tea Party movement. It is long overdue!

I think the left has just become emboldened and enabled by the brazen corruption and bias of this administration to say what they always thought-that unless you’re in lockstep with their totalitarian agenda, you have no place in this country. All that talk about “tolerance” and “loyal opposition to the government” and “dissent is patriotic” was only cover until they held the reins of power in every institution. The very few they don’t own and can’t infiltrate, they will marginalise and demonise. What I wonder is just how far they will go in my lifetime to do this. I know how far they will go before history ends, because the Bible tells me that.

I’m sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we’re Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration.

There is no such thing as “The TEA party”. T.E.A. is an acronym meaning “Taxed Enough Already” and is an independent political movement composed of hundreds of various loosely organized groups throughout the country dedicated to lower taxes and smaller non intrusive government.

The socialist/communists which control the democrat in name only party and their cohorts in the print and visual media working in bi-partisanship with opponents in the Republican party known as RINOS (republicans in name only) all have sucessfully demonized this movement.

They began by associating the initials composing the acronym T.E.A. with the beverage, the Boston tea party, a sexual activity, or a drug some call tea. Believing by using political correctness as a device and declaring the Taxed.Enough.Already. movement evil racists their efforts fighting against government waste, corruption, and expansion will be ignored .

Part of the problem is the NY GOP. They do not groom candidates that can win. It’s like they intentionally lose.

I voted against Schumer in every election but yet can’t recall a single one of his opponents other than D’Amato back in the late 90’s when he first entered the senate.

Senator Schumer is the stealth supporter of the Wall Street form of crony capitalism. He talks populist and will be populist for anything outside his buddies in the banks, investment houses and the media centered in NYC. Thus he gets that continuing flow of campaign money and the media-protected reputation of being a ‘man of the people!’

The NY GOP serves the same purpose that the Washington Generals serve for the Harlem Globetrotters.

The problem with those who oppose the Tea Party is that they don’t really understand what it is or what it stands for. They seem to believe it is a formal organizational party like the D or R party. Therefore, they attack, not knowing who or what they are attacking -

A Capitalist does not do things that are destructive to his own capital. It benefits him not to lend to who can not pay back..therefore the total system is self sustaining because it has a feed back loop..right choices sustain that component of the system wrong choices shut it down that component of the system and it try to reconfigure and repair the failure.

The government can order other to do that they will not do on their own..Like order the Capitalist to do things that to do things that are destructive to his capital like lending to others that can not pay..government feels no negative feedback from this till total systems fails and then blames the underlying components

“I’m sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic....”

That Hillary quote might have escaped a few here. Anyway, it really looks like the Clintons, Schumer, Cuomo & de Blasio think that the politics of New York state is poised to take over the entire nation.

Not so farfetched in history, since New York once had the largest Congressional delegation & number of electoral votes, and as late as WWII the prez candidates were both New Yorkers. There’s a real sense of entitlement among that crowd.

To them the “Tea Party” is merely anyone who disagrees with them.
