Why isn’t Illinois growing? Let me count the ways....

Abortion, homosexual marriage, legalized pot, Comprehensive Sex Education, corruption in government....

Notice Indiana is growing too. I wonder if it has anything to do with being next to Illinois, Michigan and Ohio?

I kind of wish the liberals fleeing Illinois would go west instead of east. We’ll take the rural tax paying producers though.

Texas is getting the Mexicans, Illinois wisely is not. Illinois also has an older aged population.

A century ago my state, Pennsylvania, had 38 electoral votes and 36 congresstional districts after the 1910 Census.

It was second in the country in those stats.

After the 2010 Census PA has 20 electoral votes and 18 congressional districts.

Now its Texas that had 38 electoral votes and 36 congressional district, second in the country in those stats.

The Progressive Republicans dominated politics in this state to the Depression and later on Liberal Democrats came along to share power with them and together they have driven this state downward trying to protect business and labor interests instead of promoting economic growth.

“From September 2007 to November 2013, when the nation lost 1.8 million jobs, Texas gained 1.1 million. Texas’s public policies — low taxes, light regulation — have clearly paid off.”

...this would play a major role and resonate with younger white males that continue to be taught the opposite in public schools. Simple and to the point. Compare to NY, any New England state, CA, any state owned by dems. Not even econ 101.

Same reason why the USA did better than the Soviet Union in the 1960’s.

I hope you're right. Somebody on here last night offered a pretty good thesis of how Abortion Barbie could win.

Once Texas goes, there's no hope of ever electing a non-Dem POTUS.
