Texas is getting the Mexicans, Illinois wisely is not. Illinois also has an older aged population.
Don't kid yourself. Illegals are now a scourge in the whole lower 48.
Naturally, the border states get more than their fair share due to where they are, but states like Texas are often just conduits for illegals to get to the blue welfare states.
It's also disingenuous to ignore the fact that red states like Texas are the destination points of choice for conservatives, businesses, and high producers, who are fleeing the imploding blue states.
