MARK LEVIN LAYS OUT PLAN FOR CURBING GOVERNMENT EXPANSION: 'THANK GOD FOR THE TEA PARTY'
Breitbart ^ | January 6, 2014 | by Jeffrey Poor

Posted on 01/07/2014 10:08:09 AM PST by Jim Robinson

Some conservatives see the ballot box as their only means of recourse against an out-of-control government. But over the last three national elections, including the 2010 midterm elections that propelled the Republicans to take control of the U.S. House of Representatives, things haven’t worked out as planned.

Mark Levin, author of The Liberty Amendments: Restoring the American Republic, charts a path to reel in the growth of this ever-expanding federal leviathan by harnessing the sentiment that inspired the Tea Party movement.

In a three-hour interview he conducted with C-SPAN that aired Sunday night, he praised the Tea Party movement and explained what their grievances are with the current state of the union.

“Thank God for the Tea Party,” Levin said.

"The Tea Party is the modern-day conservative constitutional movement. And without it, the debt would be bigger. The unfunded liabilities would be bigger and the federal government would be even more consolidated. So, I think it is a crucially important movement. I think it needs to grow and I think if the Republican Party wants to go to war, apparently it does, with the Tea Party movement, then the Republican Party is going to lose because the Tea Party is, there as I say in Ameritopia, is nothing more than citizens – hard-working, taxpaying citizens that have had enough, who see the $90, now $100 trillion in unfunded liabilities, see the massive federal debt just more, more and more, see the fecklessness of the Republican Party, see the radicalness of the Democratic Party and they say enough is enough."

Levin anticipates a defeat for the Republican Party if it tries to go to war with the Tea Party...

Eloquent and accurate. The exact date when the Republicans accepted this deal was early in 1996. Newt Gingrich’s revolution, led from the House, lasted barely a year before Bill Clinton maneuvered hm to stand between Americans and their FGC (free government cheese) with the government shutdown.

Under the New Deal paradigm, it’s the government’s duty to protect Americans from various hazards and take care of their general welfare, and for 81 years that paradigm is all people know. Citing the General Welfare Clause in the Constitution’s Preamble, most people will even tell you that it’s in the Constitution and they’re entitled to it! As a result, anyone standing between an American and his FGC will get knocked down and run over.

Once Clinton beat Gingrich and the Republicans on this issue, he cracked the whip and turned those “militia” Republicans elected in 1994 into good, reliable purveyors of pork – until the people got sick of them in 2006 and ushered them to the door.

Do I need to go on?

That is up to you.

Re-federalizing the government as per Mark Levin's amendments is a terrific start to restoration of our freedoms.

How are you going to restore anything when you don’t listen?

It’s rhetorical - please don’t answer.

There is no guarantee. An Article V state amendment convention is merely the best bad option to possibly begin the process of undoing the last eighty years of progressivism.

Just his morning Dick Durbin spoke to the press and went out of his way to blame the Tea Party for the lack of conciliatory spirit in the Senate. He is taking direct aim at Cruz, Lee and Paul.

We're rattling Durbin's cage...We're making a difference...

What good will a Constitutional Convention do

It's not a Constitutional Convention. It's a convention of the states to propose amendments to the Constitution. There's a big difference.

You're welcome.

Mark is not proposing a Constitutional convention.

That's correct, Mark Levin is Not proposing a constitutional convention. He and others emphasize that in the links. It is a Convention of States as per Article V.

The Obama Administration Culture is based on lies, persecution of political opponents, and violating the US Constitution.

Under the leadership of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Speaker of the House John Boehner, the GOP Establishment Congressional Culture is based on becoming more like the Obama Administration Culture.

By design, the GOP Establishment has become a doormat speed bump for Obamacrat politicians on the very wide, and well lighted Highway to European Socialism.

Without the capable cave-in expertise of McConnell and Boehner, the successful fundamental transformation of America into a weak, financially devastated, morally corrupt, unreliable, former World Power would not have been possible.

To those US Senators and House members who still support McConnell and Boehner, remember Einstein’s definition of insanity:

“INSANITY IS DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS.”

Finally Finally Finally one Right Wing Yakker gets it,
'be bout time these jocks start taking time off from selling Gold Bricks,Security Softwware, and trick beds
and stop the negative non-stop-preaching-to-the-choir-hosshiite about Obama.

I hope it is from checking in on this site. Conservatives no longer need to know how bad Obama is. Facts mean little to the dumbed-down electorate, anyway. We need turn-out of the real people and to control fraud. We can win. Who's "we?" Right now, that's the mystery.

We need a Program. A Plan to implement it. And a LEADER. BTW, no MSM coverage of the hard Obama smackdown confrontation delivered in Texas by Cruz.
