A ray of hope. One left wing judge should not have the authority to overturn the will of the people of an entire state.
And one spineless governor should not have the authority to accept the yoke on behalf of the entire state.

One left wing judge should not have the authority to overturn the will of the people of an entire state. I agree - but tell that to California (Proposition 8 shutdown by a 'homosexual' judge -- no conflict of interest there). Hopefully things will fare better for the Utah folks. Presumably they don't also have a left-wing Attorney General and Governor running interference.

And one spineless governor should not have the authority to accept the yoke on behalf of the entire state. He indeed did just that.
There was absolutely NO call for the Governor to order clerks to violate the state's Constitution. These licenses were COUNTERFEIT because, minimally, the forms required did not conform to the new structure, requiring "bride" and "groom" to be manually struck out.

"One left wing judge should not have the authority to overturn the will of the people of an entire state."But they do. And the judiciary has had that power with the consent of the legislative and executive branches for over 200 years.
