Period. And unlike the president, when I say 'period' I really mean it.
[When the Senate Republicans couldn't find Clintigula guilty after the House impeached him, I told the Republicans I would NEVER contribute to the GOP ever again. They haven't received one red cent since then.]
How is your leg doing Jim?
My limited experience with the VA is they are good doctors forced to work within a horrible bureaucracy, that makes them postpone needed care, which leads to less than optimal results.
Your personal experience with federal government health care might be a useful anecdote to explain why the govt shouldn’t be trusted with a one piece puzzle.
This is exactly what we have done. We’ve been without health insurance for two days, now. I will not be forced by a tyranical government to buy anything simply because I am a citizen. I honestly cannot imagine going to one of those websites to buy insurance because my servants say I have to. Ain’t gonna happen.
We are focusing more on the Gerson Diet, though.
Just say no to Obamacare, and do our country the favor of rushing this piece of garbage legislation to the crap pile of leftist failures. This is the most awkward, poorly thought out, dysfunctional, harmful legislation in the history of the world. Doing anything to prolong its destructive existence is evil.
Many, if not most, people have insurance provided through their employer. Do you suggest they cancel their policies and go uninsured?
But apart from the outrageous personal costs and possible looming financial ruin for almost everyone but the Free Sh!t Army, the costs to our liberty and freedom are even higher.
Deadly, in fact.
I have Medicare so I don't need Obamacare. Most people I know are not going to sign up and the few who have tried to sign up have had nothing but problems.
I’m going for a physical today. If the doctor is going to enter anything into any computer that can be transmitted to a government, I’ll inform him that I’ll refuse or lie.
If he wants to treat me as a patient rather than a subject, we can talk without notes.
Just opt out, and you can choose your own doctor. And keep your own money to use on you and your family.
I want health insurance, not government healthcare. Apparently there are people who don’t know the difference. Most of them lefties, btw.
What is being ignored is how many people just got on free medicare vs those actually purchasing plans thru Obamacare.
In Maryland, 30,000 signed up for free medicare vs 4,000 who got a private plan. Of those 4,000, most have not paid a cent yet and most are subsidized (i.e. you pay some of their cost)
While I agree with the tactic of non-compliance with tyranny - you cannot nullify ObamaCare.
It was never designed to implement Heath insurance, it was and is a mechanism to DESTROY the existing health insurance market, cause the complete collapse and cancellation of private heath insurance plans and create the climate for acceptance of total government takeover of healthcare.
What ObamaCare does, is empower the government with abilities it never had before, such as access to your bank accounts; mandated penalties and forcible requirements to engage in purchasing what the government mandates you purchase.
By understanding that one of the tenets of Obama’s ideology is to erase the middle class completely - one begins to understand the insidiousness at work here.
If not a single citizen signed up for O’care - it would not nullify the program or end it, because the mechanisms to impose tyranny on a scale never before seen in this country is all ObamaCare is actually designed to do. When they move to Single Payer - the enforcement mechanisms will simply be transferred to total Communist healthcare.
As to resistance, understand the lessons of history. NO despotic government EVER allows it’s subjects to resist it’s mandates, they will use deadly force to impose it’s will. So too will the federal Beast.
Now we may begin to know why the DHS has stockpiled billions of hollow-oint ammunition and have put thousands of MRAPS and APCs on our streets.
Non-compliance with tyranny is our duty . but it’s going to come at a cost I think few are going to actually be willing to bear when push comes to shove.
But I’m with you on refusing to comply. I just counted the cost is all.
I have two reasons why I won’t participate:
1. Unconstitutional
2. For a bronze plan, the “cheapest” available, it would cost me approx. $300/month and includes a $6,300+ deductible before insurance begins to cover part of the costs.
Agree, Jim.

I’ve drawn my line in the sand.
