Maybe that was a Freud-o on their part. Or maybe a terse headline. God knows. Anyhow it sounds as though Spain is strengthening some loose provisions to make the triage closer to fair. (Really fair would be only to save mother’s life, and one could argue as a Christian the mother ought to sacrifice, but I don’t think we should be ordering her to in the name of Caesar even while encouraging her by telling her the good things that would result for her child.)
It’s AP.
Very glad that Spain managed to get this through, especially at a time when the European Union is trying to ram through insane new mandates declaring abortion ‘a human right’. And you can bet the Scandinavians and the child-euthenizers in Belgium are spearheading that one.
They have more guts than we do.
Though I do hope, I can’t help but assume that the this will end in a liberal win somehow.
Or maybe I’m just cynical.
