First, let me say that I don’t want to hear anything from the homosexuals, their supporters, supporters of polygamy or any other perversion of God ordained sexuality. We told you this was coming and it has arrived. Researchers with Canada’s Centre for Addiction and Mental Health have concluded, after a decade of research, that pedophilia is a deep-rooted, unchangeable predisposition.
The Toronto Star reports:
Pedophilia has been widely viewed as a psychological disorder triggered by early childhood trauma.
Now, many experts see it as a biologically rooted condition that does not change — like a sexual orientation — thanks largely to a decade of research by Dr. James Cantor at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
Cantor’s team has found that pedophiles share a number of physical characteristics, including differences in brain wiring. It’s now thought that about 1 to 5 per cent of men are pedophiles, meaning they are primarily attracted to children.
These findings have been widely accepted among scientists, but have had little impact on social attitudes or law. However, we are left with the alarming question: if some men are born pedophiles, what should society do with them?
Well, what do you suppose those who have kept their pedophilia under control to some extent, at least keeping it only in their thoughts? They are doing the same thing the homosexuals are doing: calling for societal acceptance, and a cry for special rights will soon be accompanying this demand.
Let me say that I realize all of us face different temptations. Some are weaker in areas that others are not. For those that fight against their temptations, whether homosexuality, pedophilia, fornication, pornography, adultery or a myriad of other sins, let me say “thank you.” Thank you for not justifying your lusts and thank you for seeking to keep them under control. The Bible commands us to repent of these lusts, as well as any action based on them, and Jesus Christ is a Savior of sinners from sin.
However, to accept that this is biological in nature is to miss the aspect of sin. After all, even these that are claiming this is from birth cannot prove it. As my friend Shea Bernard wrote, concerning homosexuality, “Dr. Francis S. Collins, head of the Human Genome Project, along with his team of over 150 of the top geneticists in the world, who sequenced and decoded the human genome, three years ahead of schedule, have emphatically said, ad nauseam, that there is NO gay gene.” To that I would add that there was no discovery of a “pedophilia” gene either. It may come as a surprise, but there are no “thieve” genes, “murderer” genes, or “liar” genes. This is a spiritual issue and deals with the mind.
However, Cantor wants us to believe it is biological. Cantor says of pedophilia: ”It’s either purely biological or a mix of biological and experiential.”
Cantor and his former colleague, Michael Seto, are careful to differentiate between pedophiles and sex offenders. The first, obviously has to do with the mental part and the second is the criminal action part.
So, how are they seeking to help those in the first category? A website, of course. Enter Virtuous Pedophiles. It’s a website for pedophiles who have never molested children, but do have an attraction for them.
One individual that was pointed to in the article in the Star was a man by the name of Ethan Edwards, who at the age of 50 found he could no longer suppress his desires and simply look at young girls in a protective manner. Edwards is the co-founder of Virtuous Pedophiles.
“I realized that young girls certainly took my breath away, more than grown-ups are usually charmed by kids,” Edwards said.
Edwards claims that his site desires to prevent child abuse, by reducing the stigma against non-offending pedophiles. “We do not choose to be attracted to children, and we cannot make that attraction go away. But we can resist the temptation to abuse children sexually, and many of us present no danger to children whatsoever. Yet we are despised for having a sexual attraction that we did not choose, cannot change, and successfully resist.”
While I’m happy to hear that Edwards and others acknowledge their problem, see it as a problem and seek to keep it from being a problem for young children, it is those like Cantor and Seto that seek to justify the mental state and actions by claiming people are just “born this way” that concern me even more. This is the same argument being used by the militant homosexuals to advance their agenda in this country.
The way to confront such pseudo-science is to hit it head on with an extreme response.
“Since they have ‘shown’ that pedophilism is hard-wired at birth, and pedophilism is so destructive to society, the obvious response is that when someone is determined to be a pedophile by a court of law, they should be ‘euthanized’.”
You can bet if these scoundrels heard *that* reasoning, they would shut up real quick.
The victim needs to be under 18 with more then a 3 year difference in their ages is the strictest standard I am aware of.
Now if we are talking dictionary the victim needs to be prepubescent and the perpetrator post pubescent.

Boortz gave us the false choice and false conclusion the other day on Hannity when he said that gays must be born gay because there is no way that one would choose to be gay, similar to the way a grownup level headed person would choose an item off a menu at a restaurant.
Never mind that sexual deviation (or any behavioral deviation) may be a behavior developed at a young age due to psychological problems.
My understanding is that pedophilia is sex with a prepubescent child.

It causes the hair to raise and tears to form when I contemplate. It is still me after the physical part has departed or died.

There are facts and figures the homosexual lobby would like buried as deep as the victims. In this particular example statistics prove that the majority of serial killings are committed by homosexuals and, to a lesser degree, by lesbians.
I believe that as a youth experiments with another buddy the two see how easy it is to experience orgasm with a same-sex partner. There’s no grooming, preening or snappy conversation required if one were attempting to make points with a member of the opposite sex.
As they mature they flit from one homo relationship to another, picking up serious attacks on their immune system. When one examines the homosexual ritual it is discovered that the gestation of fecal matter is involved. Now that, in itself, should be enough to put the fear of God into even the most ‘hardened’ homosexual.
But no they brainlessly drift from one relationship to another and, for the sake of variety, experiment with different ways of sating their evil desires. There’s even the case of a Washington State homosexual club where members were allowed to pair off with animals. The action got wide press coverage when one decided he wanted to be mounted by a stallion. He, of course, died.
As the years flit by the old queens want younger meat. After all, what wrinkled old queer wants to screw around with another old queer?
I say, unequivocally, that practitioners of homosexual and lesbian relations are anathema to any nation that strives for decency. Instead of being pedestalized they need to be shamed and shunned!
What else then can one expect from a nation that has tossed decency as well as God out the window and marches on filling up dumpsters with dead babies?
I for one don’t care to warehouse for a lifetime (at enormous cost) a pedophile, rapist or a murderer who has premeditated.
Our lousy Supreme Court has upheld the murder of innocent babies but continues to coddle those who belong in Boot Hill.
A case this week was especially horrific and was reported that a ‘man’ had raped his neighbor’s female dog.

IF society is to accept that position, those professionals who made and who take that position may not be doing pedophiles any favors, as a society who accepts that position could then accept that they have no choice with a convicted pedophile than to insure they remain incarcerated for life.
As to the statement that the researchers noted some differences in the “wiring” in the brains of some pedophiles, it ignores that the brain is very plastic - the wiring (the excersize of various neural pathways) is moldable IN RESPONSE to what we ask it to do, and the brains physical structure can reflect, over time, small differences that reflect what excersize we have given it.
Did they examine the brains of the pedophile at birth, and re-examine them 30 years later? No. Then noticing some “difference” late in life, in the brains of a pedophile says NOTHING about what the brain was capable of showing AT BIRTH. The difference they see can just as well be explained as a difference RESULTING from their long years pedophilia (you keep excersizing somethint a certain way, over and over again, and you will leave an impression on the material you have been excersizing reflecting the excerzing you have given it.
The level of brain activity in various parts of the brain is often NOT the result of the genetic structure of how a physical brain is built, but how it is used over time, again and again. Leave certain mental tasks out of the general mental effort and “the wiring” to perform those taks will atrophy as well. Repeat certain mental tasks with regularity in the general mental effort and the wiring to perform those tasks will improve.
Are there genetic limits to that in each of us? yes; but the general rule applies. The brain is plastic and half of early learning is “teaching” the brain to accomplish a task; and when we do, the brain then improves the synaptic pathways for doing that task again, and the task becomes easier and we get better at it. The brain is genetically full of “potential” but it requires education and experience for any “full” potential (different for each of us) to be realized.
Why should early developmental experiences and the constant repitition of pedophilia thoughts and actions NOT form the basis of seeing some “different” “wiring” in a pedophile’s brain by the time they are an adult? They should. What the researchers observed in a pedophile’s brain activity is likely the result of life-long pedophilia, not the cause.
My thinking too....but laws vary from State to State and even after puberty the child may still fall under the consent age.

2) isolate them from children, or we can
3) figure out how to re-wire them.

That is not entirely true, as there are plenty of heterosexual pedophiles as well, both male and female.
And an additional problem is the legally arbitrary age of consent. All U.S. states set their limits between 16 and 18. With the younger age, minors often must have parental permission to get married. But there are a patchwork of laws to deal with sexual activity and consent.
A key to determining is someone is a pedophile, is not if they are attracted to someone under the legal age, but importantly, if they are *not* attracted to those *over* that legal age. This is the “too old” standard.
While the law does not distinguish between the two, the psychology is very different. Lots of men were turned on by the 16 and 17 year old porn star Traci Lords, who looked to be an adult, and she had a fake ID so everyone thought she was an adult. But had she looked younger than legal age, while many would still have looked, they would have never dared to do anything about it.
Conversely, in recent years, an adult porn star from South America named Little Lupe, looked so underage that a man in NYC was arrested for child pornography, for looking at one of her videos. She had to fly to NYC with documentary evidence that she was an adult, out of fear of losing her most profitable market. And even after proving that she was an adult, the prosecution still wanted to prosecute him, saying that she looked so underage that his *intent* was to look at child porn. Though her site include age disclaimers.
Certainly it is greatly associated with the part of us that experiences transcendent emotions. Why would we cry over things that cause little or no physical pain? Why would our “hair raise” with fright in situations of little actual physical danger?
We comprise a package bigger than many of us are ready to give credit for. To make more sense of divine salvation we need to know more about what was saved and out of what kind of state to what kind of state and what kind of agent is responsible. We who think we are so normal have badly fragmented minds, and forget that there is far more to our lives than “humdrum existence.” It’s only when God begins to knit our immaterial selves back together that we can begin to appreciate the fullness of what we have missed.
Anyhow the whole world needs God badly, not just those we know as the worst sinners. The worst sinners may ironically be in the most advantageous place, because they have a problem that can’t be ignored. John Q. Normal may be in a worse long term peril.
I don’t believe pedophilia is a legal term. Its a clinical term and also a general usage term which means an adult who finds children sexually attractive.
Its one of those things we know when we see it but have trouble defining it. Partially because its based on cultural norms. In America during the 1700-1800s it was fairly common for a 13, 14, or 15 yr old girl to get married to an older man. In the old days people who abused children tended to get hung or shot fairly quickly. Today it is highly unusual for marriage but the predator behavior is unfortunately becoming more common.
All this started when the Faggots wanted to be left alone. But nobody was listening to
what that actually meant. They wanted to be left alone to PERVERT our society so they
could act out sexual perversions in public on onto our Children,
and "left alone to do it" with impunity.
