Rohullah Qarizada is one of those Afghans you used to see a lot on American TV in the immediate aftermath of the Taliban's fall. Trimly bearded, dapper in Western suit and tie, he heads the Afghan Independent Bar Association in Kabul. Did you know Kabul had a bar association? A few years back, I ran into one of the U.S. prosecutors who helped set it up, with a grant from the Swedish foreign ministry. Mr. Qarizada currently sits on a committee charged with making revisions to the Afghan legal code. What kind of revisions? Well, for example: "Men and women who commit adultery shall be punished based on the circumstances by one of the following punishments: lashing, stoning."

But it’s way past time civilized nations wiped these savages from the face of the earth and see that Arabic is spoken is spoken only in hell.
Not only should we get out of Afghanistan immediately, but we should outlaw Islam and deport every Muslim to the crappy Muslim country of his or her choice. Then tell them that if one more act of terrorism happens, we will cover Mecca in pork rinds.
So Steyn has his usual Friday column posted at his own site as authored by “National Review’s Happy Warrior”—but NR hasn’t posted it?
Has he pulled himself from the NR site? One of their editors, Jay Nordlinger, claimed that NR was a big supporter of Steyn—but they haven’t posted this week’s column after Steorts, their no-name editor, insulted his column last week.
Hmmmm.
