Six years ago my husband had open heart surgery. He had a home health nurse who came for several days a week for several months. She was a young unmarried muslim woman, never saw her without her head scarf on. We live with our dogs and finally, just before she stopped visiting, she put her hand on one of our dogs heads and petted him. She was reluctant to do it but I insisted. Hard to figure those people out.

In my (rather vast) experience I have noted a certain type of woman.

Usually she is from an affluent background, with a successful male parent and the benefit of being sent to a private liberal arts college where she has studied, Psychology, Sociology, "Women's Studies" and/or African American Studies.

She has a non-degree with some fancy letters but no substance. She yearns for adventure and ties sexual fulfillment with rebellion, anti-social (but *very trendy*) behavior and can be found giving "up twinkle" hand gestures at Occupy rallies where she decides to name herself after a condiment.

In my youth dated a few of these and I can assure you that engaging in a serious discussion with one of them is worthy of the warning at the entrance to Dante's Inferno. At the gateway to her mind is emblazoned "Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here."

I saw one such being interviewed on the Colbert report some time back. Behold "Ketchup."

It is from such as these that the Moslems will find brides to rival (at least temporarily) their favorite goat.
