Putting aside the Islamic scientific proof that the earth is flat, or that Mecca is the center of the universe, the Islamo-centric information and cultural news portal Islam Online (of Doha, Qatar) has reported on Dec. 21, 2013, that Islamic Sharia Law proves scientifically that humans should never keep dogs as pets. Of the millions of websites on the internet, Islam Online ranks as one of the more widely read information hubs available world-wide.
Their wildly popular Ask the Scholar section tackles the age old question if it's permissible for Muslims to own dogs as pets.

How can someone believe such a messed up book with facts that are outrageously wrong.
On the other hand, the Bible has been tested to the EXTREME and it has not come up wanting.
Believe the Bible (because of it’s proven history) and not the fake book of the Koran.

In this I believe they are correct, since forcing a dog to stay under the same roof as a Mohammedan is the ultimate form of animal cruelty.
(Not to mention the "unequal yoking" of a dog to an inferior life form.)

That’s because many breeds of dogs can see right into a person’s heart and many times they don’t like what they see in the Muslim heart. That’s why they react negatively which prevents a close bond.

My two labs are sure to be disquieted by this news. Not sure how they’ll take getting told they can’t sleep on the kids’ beds anymore.
