Peshawar, 23 December 2013 Accountability court Peshawar has sent the Ex IG kpk for 10 day remands to the Nab on Monday, the case of weapon scandal was present on Accountability court Judge Wilayat Ali Gandapure.
National Accountability Bureau official has present the document in court No1, in which claimed that on 20 December an important personality in government gives detail to the Accountability official and we found more evidence against Ex IG Malik Naveed. Malik Naveed has given the contract to a local contractor for the buying of the weapon for police.
The Lawyer of National Accountability Peshawar informed the judge that Ex IGP Malik Naveed whose head of the purchase committee for the KPK Police make an agreement with international firm but pay to Majeed & Sons. He informed the judge that 936.7 million payments made to Arshad Majeed. The lawyer also informed the Accountability Judge that 34 million sales taxes didnt pay to the government.
The lawyer presents the document to the Judge and request to the Judge, that in current scenario keep secret it and its our request to give 14 days more remand of Malik Naveed. Lawyer of the Malik Naveed Barrister Zahoor informed the accountability judge Nab official didnt recover any recorded, document, money from his clients and Nab official have no evidence against his clients.
After discussion of the Lawyers from both side Judge Wilayat Ali Gandapure accept the 10 day Remand of Malik Naveed, in which Malik Naveed will be in the custody of National Accountability official. The family members and relative of the Malik Naveed was on court and meet with Malik Naveed. Malik Naveed was in the custody of the NAB official since 33 days and investigator investigates from the Ex IGP Kpk Malik Naveed about the weapon for police.
According to the National Accountability bureau investigator Ex IG gives agreement to the High bidder for weapon, even the committee have low bidder of 13 thousand rupees for Kalashnikov. According to him police buy 23 thousand Kalashnikov for KPK police and pay five thousand extra to the bidder in the contract.
Investigator of the Malik Naveed case informed that journalists that Malik Naveed agree to the Nab official for plea-bargain and offer 40 million rupees to the nab official but today nab official deny the plea-barging with Malik Naveed.
