The Republican was once savaged for suggesting polygamy could become legal if the Supreme Court killed anti-sodomy laws. Now a judge has ruled against Utah’s anti-polygamy statute.

A decade ago, Rick Santorum said polygamy, among other things, would be allowed if bans on sodomy were struck down by the Supreme Court.

“Sometimes I hate it when what I predict comes true,” the once and likely future Republican presidential candidate tweeted Sunday after a federal judge decriminalized polygamy in Utah.

Judge Clark Waddoups ruled late Friday that parts of the state’s law are unconstitutional, based on a Supreme Court ruling that legalized sodomy across the nation.

In 2003, referring to the landmark gay rights case Lawrence v. Texas before the Supreme Court, Santorum told the Associated Press:

“If the Supreme Court says that you have the right to consensual sex within your home, then you have the right to bigamy, you have the right to polygamy, you have the right to incest, you have the right to adultery.”(continued)

So almost 60% supposedly are fine with same-sex marriage, but 83% disapprove of polygamy? Huh?

When I asked “why 2” I was pelted with stones.

Next up — a petition to marry one’s sibling, mother, father, or any combination thereof.

Since same-sex couples cannot procreate naturally all incest taboos are rendered moot.

Of course polygamy is next, but incest will not be far behind, especially now since the problem of birth defects has been worked out through contraception and abortion.

Pedophiles are working on making that legal.

You see these things are all becoming recognized by psychiatrists as merely preferences and not perversions.
When they took down homosexuality as a perversion and made it a preference they started the ball rolling for all sexual perversions to be recognized. people who accept this must accept all preferences.

I dont think they will stop at puberty. They already argue that children have a right to sex.

I watched 3 or 4 episodes and they seemed like a good family except for the polygyny (the actual term when a man has multiple wives) and they reminded me of Duck Dynasty in some ways.
