Actually, the majority of people who dislike cops on Free Republic are the people who have been "contacted" by one or more of them since they ceased being "Peace Officers" and became "Law Enforcement Officers".
I wouldn't mind them at all if there were a lot fewer of them, they shared marked police cars and they stayed at their shop or the donut shop until called on to preserve the peace.
Okay, they're also going to have to stop the no-knock raids (at the right or wrong address) and shooting people's dogs.

I told my wife I’d bet he was bullied. This is a real conundrum for the left. They’re very concerned about bullying. So much that they’re willing to go way overboard. Now they have a kid who was bullied and tried to take matters into his on hands with a gun. AND HE HATES REPUBLICANS!
Sounds like he liberally took the law into his own hands, liberally decided that laws didn’t affect him, and he liberally took life from others. A conservative, when he has a beef with another person, just puts on the gloves and dukes it out in the school gym. A liberal on the other hand, shoots up the school.
Just like in real life. When a conservative doesn’t like a product, he/she just doesn’t buy it. When a liberal doesn’t like a product, they hold marches, signature drives and write laws so that no one can have the product.

This article makes the connection, but it is a reverse connection. He didn't like Republicans and he was bullied. By inference, the bullying was done by Tea Party/the right/conservatives/Republicans.
