The Chamber of Commerce GOPe will find that there aren’t enough millionaire voters to win elections.

Millionaires vote Dem. The GOP will soon be an army of generals with no foot soldiers. If they lose the middle class taxpayer they will be in the minority for a generation. They are obviously too greedy and lazy to realize that.

Had a so-called "leader" like John Boehner emerged in that room where America's "Declaration of Independence" from the coercive oppression of King George was being considered, there would have been no "land of the free and home of the brave"!

Instead, there was John Adams who was recorded as being the passionate speaker on behalf of its adoption, even though, each signer of that Declaration knew that, by their signatures, they might lose their lives.

The "approval" of partisan political groups, even "business" groups may be important to Boehner now, but history will record the capitulation of those who call themselves "conservative," who did not hold firm in the defense of liberty against the most tyrannical attack on freedom since 1776.

What might John Adams say today? Perhaps he said it already:

"...nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers, and destroyers press upon them so fast, that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon the American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour. The revenue creates pensioners, and the pensioners urge for more revenue. The people grow less steady, spirited, and virtuous, the seekers more numerous and more corrupt, and every day increases the circles of their dependents and expectants, until virtue, integrity, public spirit, simplicity, and frugality, become the objects of ridicule and scorn, and vanity, luxury, foppery, selfishness, meanness, and downright venality swallow up the whole society." - John Adams

Washington DC should be called 100 square miles of Griftopia surrounded by reality.

________________________________________

Well, actually it’s surrounded by most of the top ten wealthiest counties, by income, in the country. All generated by government spending. Kinda of a bureaucratic Versailles or District One of The Hunger Games.

I’ve long advocated the inverse of voting rights for District of Columbia residents. That is the expansion of the Federal Zone to encompass the bedroom suburbs and pilot fish corporations that feed on tax dollars. Remove their voting rights and ban their participation in political action, be contributions, activity, or demonstration, etc.

Tattoo Servant of the People on their foreheads, force them to give way to Free Citizens when traveling. Kind of inverse feudalism I know but I was just on a Sci-Fi/Fantasy thread and the mind started wandering.

Hillary’s Third way campaign is based on Robert Reich’s “NEW” economics theory he developed while in college with the Clintons.

This “NEW” economics theory has been described as nothing more than a tweaking and a refining of National Socialism, Nazism.

If they are successful in taking us to nazism you can say goodbye to private ownership of land.

Certain corporations that work with the govt will own the surface for corporate farms, timber, etc. and the govt will own the minerals below the surface.

All the wealth that is being created in the private sector with oil and gas drilling will stop going to individual mineral owners and will go to the govt.

Bill Clinton spelled this vision out in 1992 but no one on the right dared to call it what it was.

Nazism pure and simple.

Unfortunately, you're wrong. DC is surrounded by Maryland and northern Virginia, which have both become willing partners in Griftopia.

If a group can be judged by its enemies then The Tea Party shines this day. With Big Govt Progressives and Big Business lobbyists arrayed against it the Tea Party may be in a deadly struggle, but it is the RIGHT struggle for the soul of this nation and its people.

The business community and some elements of the Tea Party disagree over amnesty and open borders. A debate over a single issue — immigration. OK, I get that.

But the main mission of the Tea Party is cutting the size of government. No one is more anti-big government than the Tea Party. The supposedly Republican-oriented business groups should support a group that wants to cut government and save our future from national bankruptcy. Why are the RINO businessmen playing along with the liberal media and demonizing the Tea Party?

John Boehner is celebrated by the media as a man of courage who shot down the conservatives. He is beloved by fat cat business lobbyists who hate the Tea Party because it is serious about cutting spending.

One day media hero Boehner will quit Congress and become a fat cat lobbyist working for sleazoid clients, just like his Senate predecessor, Trent Lott, did.

“writing on the wall”

I think so.

I heard an analysis of this on a radio show (generic news analysis, supposedly conservative slant, but the point is, not a Rush, Levin, or Hannity etc) and don’t know who the analyst was who commented.

He talked of how “close to the vest” Boehner was holding and playing his hand on “immigration reform” but that the fact he hired this McCain “babe” is a dead giveaway that he plans to ram this through no matter what, come next year.

Now I ask you, what would that do to depress the base vote that is so critical to holding the House? Depends on whether the conservatives/libertarians try to take back the party or simply turn away in disgust.

We know the Rovians, etc are going to go hard against conservative candidates in primaries, trying to make sure the establishment wins and rids themselves of tea party types.

There has to be a plot, a scheme in there. If conservatives turn away in disgust from all Republicans instead of turning out for the conservative brand, this combination if it worked like the E wants would be to do well enough in the elections to keep the House, maybe get the Senate, but make sure the winners are E people.

Mark Levin really believes a convention of state legislatures to propose constitutional amendments - based on the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution and his book “The Liberty Amendments” is the only hope we have, which consists of BYPASSING these traitors at the federal level.

There are meetings of such people that are beginning to happen even as we discuss this.

There’s an old saying that money can’t buy you love. Boehner and the USCoC are about to find out it can’t buy elections either.

Government + Business = FASCISM.

Yes, we are living in a FASCIST State where the "approved" Government Business' are the only ones that survive.

Government + Health Care Insurers = GENETIC CLEANSING.

First of all, the only people I heard complaining about the shutdown were democrat talking heads, rino talking heads and government workers who all got back pay.

Second, businesses love those EBT cards.

I doubt your congressman read the bill. He voted the way he was told to vote. I wonder what happened to all those who continuously voted to defund obamacare.
