I’ve seen the occasional gun mag down on the bottom shelves in the magazine section at MA supermarkets. She doesn’t say they were in the checkout lane rack, just the “magazine rack”.
Small potatoes compared to the other mistakes she makes, but then, as with so many Northeastern lib papers, making up the entire story while sitting at their desk is practically a tradition (cf the creation of Disco and so many more).
Pretty sure silencers are illegal to advertise, and no ammo ad I’ve ever seen talked about not “clogging” when hitting clothing.
Silencers are legal (at least in my state). I see ads all the time for them. It takes an ATF Form 4 and a $200 tax stamp.
—”siencers” —better called “suppressors” because they don’t really “silence” have been legalized for hunting in several states as they reduce the noise level of gunshots below hearing damage—
—the NFA provision banning “silencers” in 1934 was probably the most foolish of any of the stupidly enacted provisions of the act—the earliest federal example of “feel good”legislation was not designed to solve any problem but to make political points-—
Silencers are perfectly legal in most states and, as far as I know legal to advertise. Otherwise the article is hogwash.
