Newtown anniversary: US schools keep trying wrong fixes...

Full Title: "Newtown anniversary: US schools keep trying wrong fixes to deter school shootings, experts say."

It happened after Columbine, after Virginia Tech, and after Newtown, too. After every massacre in a school, Americans grasp at quick cures. Let's install metal detectors and give guns to teachers. Let's crack down on troublemakers, weeding out kids who fit the profile of a gunman. Let's buy bulletproof whiteboards for the students to scurry behind, or train kids to throw erasers or cans of soup at an attacker.

"The only thing who can stop a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun."

The idiot leftist commie morons still don't get it, and their "feel good" solutions will only get more kids and teachers killed.

Just think if the bad guy had to go through a choke point (like the front office) covered by half a dozen people with guns.
Most school shooters wouldn’t get very far.

That’s a darned good idea. With entrance cameras, they’d see him coming with a duffel bag, and could be ready to drop him quickly.

People with Jesus in their heart don't shoot up schools. Another product of getting God out of schools IMO.

If you manage to get to the end of the article you see that this genius’s solution would have done absolutely nothing to stop the Newtown attack. The only factor the shooter met was “access” to firearms. Yeah, he and a few tens of millions of others.

This is actually not a really good article. Despite it’s griping, it still does not truly address the issues.

To wit: serious crime punishment, and bringing back insane asylums.

It’s pretty typical of most lib “solutions” - which essentially are non-solutions - of funding do-nothing programs with someone else’s money, and growing the size of gov’t and any bureaucracy they can.

The solution is to kill the shooter before he can do any damage: zero recidivism. People who are that far gone into madness and the desire for slaughter, probably should just be dispatched from this world. JMO.

You've got it exactly right, carriage_hill, and here's the rest of it: sooner or later, more students and teachers killed will result in more infringements of the Second Amendment. Dead students and teachers are a small price for communists to pay for so-called "gun control."

God has been thrown out of the Nation - collectively speaking - and we’re paying a terrible price for it. A much steeper price is yet to come, if we don’t come back to Him.

What's wrong with those suggestions?

BINGO!

The commie agenda is relentless and merciless; the world’s history is plain to see, if Americans would only recognize what the dems are: communists/Marxists/fascists/socialists all rolled into one label: “progressives”. But when the dems are playing Santa Claus, with all the “free shit”, no one (takers) getting that stuff wants to call them on it.

Here, according to NBC (Nothing But Communism) are the solutions to stop school shootings:

1. No bullying allowed.

2. Deal with grievances real fast.

3. Allow students to squeak up if they feel unsafe.

4. If a student feels suicidal, give them a communist to talk to.

5. Lock up all guns in the home.

They forgot to add these measures:

A. Midnight basketball.

B. Banning magazines that hold more than one round.

C. Investing in tomato soup cans to throw at crazed gunmen.

D. Bunkers.

E. Claymore mines.

F. One-way freighter tickets for democrats to North Korea.

Nothing, both are good and should be done. But also remember that Lanza was pulled out of school either by his mother - and possibly at the school’s suggestion; who knows - and look what he still managed to do. What happens to the ones “weeded out”? Asylums?

Probably not.

But that doesn't keep schools from being shot up.

“A. Midnight basketball.”

One of my favorites, when I argue with a dem: “How’s that gem-of-an-idea working out these days, moron?”

Hospitals are scaling back drastically, and many are just closing, thanks to 0bummerCare. We’re going to need to re-build super-max asylums to house all the dangerous kids, or put them into escape-proof islands, like in “Escape From NY”.

The world of surveillance operated by the people we pay to guard us, far exceeds the fevered dreams of the Stasi.
