WASHINGTON -- The United States has proposed to the Israeli government a security plan for new borders with a future Palestinian state that games out an exhaustive list of possible threats, US Secretary of State John Kerry told the Brookings Institution's Saban Forum on Saturday.
Overseen by US retired general John Allen, the plan "guarantees" that the Jordan River will remain secure for years after any deal is signed, Kerry said.
"We approach this challenge believing that Israel has to be strong to make peace," Kerry said, "but that peace will make Israel stronger."

Delusions are not a solid foundation for an effective foreign policy, security or long term peace. Obama and Kerry may be comforted by politically expedient fantasies, but serious people must deal with the world as it is and act accordingly.

It is always Israel that has to do something - never the Palestinians who have to do something. Israel has given up this and that and this and that every time there is a talk of having peace - the Palestinians give nothing and say they aren’t making peace unless/until Israel gives up more.
A pox on the Palestinians and Hamas - give them nothing more.

Israel should have hung the continuation of the phony peace process on the outcome of the appeasement of Iran project, and made it publicly known — cut a deal with Iran, no more negotiations, EVER.
Obama and Kerry think they know more than the LORD Almighty. This will be interesting to witness going forward...The Bible is full of examples of men like them. And we know who their puppeteer is according to Ephesians 6 “...spiritual forces of evil...”. And 1 Thessalonians 5:3 does come to mind.
