Call it Adoption Equality. Or the logical endpoint of liberal advocacy on behalf of the oppressed.
The man will now be able to adopt, after a review by the municipality’s social affairs committee (socialnämnd) found that his risk of relapse was considered low, with all but one of ten members of the committee voting yes to the man’s application to adopt.
Maybe he was just guilty of possessing child pornography. But at least he didn’t actually molest any kids. Surely no society on the planet is so far gone that it would actually allow an active pedophile to adopt a child.
Welcome to Sweden.
The man was also convicted of molesting his neighbour’s then five-year-old daughter in 2004, and was also suspected of raping a young teenage girl.
While he was never charged for the suspected rape of a 14-year-old girl, social services decided after the incident that he from then on needed supervision when spending time with his own children. A few years later, in 2007, the man was deemed to be in the risk zone for sex crime relapse, and his “probable victims” were underage girls. The review recommended that the man be given treatment and parenting training.
Parenting training. That’s what a pedophile needs.
The lessons seem clear: political correctness dictates that no-one is really guilty of anything, since it’s all society’s fault anyway. Don’t take your young children to Sweden any time soon.
Except the Swedenization of America, complete with the war on gender pronouns, promotion of transgender and moral gun panics means that it’s only a matter of time until America becomes Sweden.
Liberals want to make America like Sweden. Remember that.

It’s hard to look down our noses at the Swedes when we allow homosexuals to adopt.
It’s getting to the point that I think today’s American liberals think that Sweden is too “conservative.”

I understand the “connection,” however, picture of Michael Jackson heading up the article makes it seem that Sweden has decided to let him posthumously adopt a child.
