Thank God your daughter wasn’t on the train. God does work in mysterious ways. I haven’t heard anything about our friend - I’m pretty sure he’s ok. Just an instinct.
I’m a little concerned though that there are divers in the river. I first heard that no one had gone into the water. Then why are there divers out there?
We just found our friend Bill. Wasn’t on the train. Was taking a later one - and now he can’t get back into Manhattan since the trains are all out. Pretty small problem, don’t you think?

I heard that since people were thrown from the train the rescuers need to operate on the assumption that it would have been possible for someone to have been thrown into the water since the first car was so close to the river. The odds are probably not extremely high that this happened, however since there is even a chance of it, they have to take the precaution of looking and operating as if it happened since it could have.
