Thanksgiving Day 2013 - A thought for our nation.

"Oh give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever." Psalm 107:1

I witness that this is true. Even in hard times, the Lord God continues to bless and help us through if we seek Him. The same is true for our nation right now. Let's give thanks to God for our many blessings this Thanksgiving, and turn to Him If we do, and put our whole hearts into that effort...then He will heal our nation.

We already have lots of family that has arrived here in southwest Idaho, and more coming in the next three hours or so. We will have about 25 here celebrating this day of thanks. Wife, in-laws, our kids and their spouses, and of course eight of our nine grandkids. Great food, great company...and a couple of football games!

Like you, the turkey is going into the oven and our whole immediate family will arrive later this afternoon. Despite our manifold problems as a nation, we still have a lot for which to be thankful! Special thanks to the Robinsons for their continuing good work keeping FR “on the air.”
