I'm posting this not for the story but for the photos of the broken glass entry point from inside the school where he could have been stopped if anyone had a gun. He probably tripped over that furniture trying to getting in.

Note also that the propaganda continues that the shooting was over in 5 minutes so that no one pays much attention to the police response -- it didn't matter because it was all over so fast, right???

But police dispatch indicates that shooting from the killer continued for atleast 11 minutes and possibly 16 minutes while the police were diddling around outside doing everything they could to avoid going through that broken glass window.

Not everything should be blamed on mom. There is a dad...who’s very wealthy and chooses to hide. But EVERYONE knew he had SERIOUS problems.

Of course they blame the mom. She is dead and cannot defend herself. Logical for the LIV/Dem world view.

She made a bad mistake and paid for it. But I blame the animal who did the shooting and the Devil who inspired him.

THEY are the main culprits here.

That was a seriously-disturbed kid who should never have had access to any firearms at home, and whose medical records should have precluded him purchasing any on his own. 20-20 hindsight, I know.

Little known is that one nearby cop did show up in a little over 60 seconds but parked up the street for about 6 minutes as Lanza unimpededly went on unimpeded, blithely executing all those kids.

Despite the new, post columbine “active shooter” protocols the first responder actually was a spectator, just as at Columbine.

What the public saw on TV was footage of SWAT gloriously responding, however.

The single mom undoubtedly made mistakes - who doesn’t?

I will make an educated guess that even though it says mom, that the blame will narrow down to the fact that she allowed him access to guns and that will devolve into blaming the gun.

The investigation however indicates his long-time obsession with mass killings especially Columbine. And video games where killing is the sport. He was sick and evil from the get-go.

As for parental accountability, I’m with you, Sac. The father? Clever of him to avoid everything, I’ll say! Clever, but WRONG.

This runway model sized man ( 6 foot, 112 lbs) was a good shot with his kill to wounded ratio...

Adam Lanza did it.

No one else is guilty of murder here.

Yeah, the mom killed herself then slaughtered innocent children. Idiots.

No, she made a bad mistake and a lot of children paid for it. And how can you blame the shooter? He was certifiably nuts.

We all know what happened. Then what is this report about? Is it to stir the soup?

You never see this in the Obama Media Group. We always have to search overseas to get the actual facts.

I agree totally that it was not the firearm but the fault rests solely with momma Lanza and her failure to secure the firearms and her continued purchases for sonny boy of lethal weapons while knowing that he was mentally disturbed.

Probably because the police waited outside while he shot them execution style with his pistol.

I remember Lt Vance’s carefully choreographed press interviews back then. He was very cagey about who went in that front glass and when — now we know why.

They were there within a minute, parked a quarter mile away, and took the longest route on foot to the school.

While shooting is going on in the school they take down a parent armed with a cellphone on the line with 911.

And in Sedensky’s report he has the kids running from the school before Lanza even gets in there.

The only thing worse than the pathetic police response is now the pathetic cover-up.

The report is there to whitewash the police response to the shooting.

Sandy Hook report: Shooter’s mom wanted to buy him gun for Christmas

By Liz Goodwin, Mon, Nov 25, 2013

The mother of mass killer Adam Lanza wrote her son a check to buy a pistol as a Christmas present in the days leading up to the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, according to an official report out Monday.

Nancy Lanza — who was killed by her 20-year-old son last December before he killed six women and 20 children at the Connecticut elementary school — told friends a month before the shooting that she was concerned about her son. He had not left the house for three months, and he communicated with her only via email, she said. She was not allowed to enter his room.

But despite what seemed like mental health warning signs, the police found a check in the Lanza home for a CZ 83 pistol, which Nancy Lanza intended to give to her son over the holidays, according to a report released by a Connecticut state's attorney. The check’s date section read “Christmas Day.”

Police are not obligated to protect anyone! They exist as a law-enforcement janitorial service.
