i’ve purchased a couple but want to buy more.
What’s the deal on ammo? Is it available now or are there still shortages? I haven’t seen any articles about it for quite some time.
I am sure most guns have been lost in tragic boating accidents. And who could remember those bought in private sales years ago. Those oficially tracked through background checks are already targeted for a future confiscation regardless what the retainment of Background Check records law says.
.22 still kinda hard to get , but most everything else is available around here.
Forget Walmart. They aren’t even trying to sell guns or ammo anymore.
Hunting season, and their shelves are empty with only about half the guns they used to display.
Fortunately, our local Rural King farm store put in a new gun section that that is a huge success.
lots of guns, lots of ammo. Still short on .22 longs though.
The supply is opening up some here. I was at a smaller shop who had quite a selection of better AR-15s and Ar-10s in stock.
I have about 7k 22LR on hand but wouldn’t mind getting a few more bricks.
You can never have enough .22 LR ammo.

Thanks. I noticed the small store where I go buy pizza that sells ammo was out of 22 shells also. They were kinda busy so I didn’t get a chance to ask about it.
Where is the corresponding spike in gun crime?
The Zer0s have you in their radar if you have bought on the ATF background system. It does not matter what the record retention law says.

Had ATF come to my door and seize a semi-collectible revolver purchased two years and 6 states away from my current location. The gun had been reported stolen in 1996 in Kansas. Person reporting the theft had died and gun went to his heir. I had no recourse nor could I question the original report. Since then I have made a point of selling or trading new purchases to people known to be of good character or possessing a valid concealed carry permit. Too bad my gun safe was swallowed up in a sinkhole - never got the chance to take them boating.
