House phones, internet, cable, satellite, internet appliances, car with Bluetooth, certain car stereos, cars with black boxes, tablets, iPods, ipafs, etc etc..ready made 24 hour surveillance of the population.

They already do all the things you posted. I told my wife in 1992 that the government can make billionaires look like babbling fools if they cause problems. I also told her that as long as little people like us didn’t cause problems, they wouldn’t mess with us. However, now I believe every now and then they’ll make examples out of people. They can put stuff on your computer. They can use your phone to make threatening calls. And of course, if you are a thorn in their side they can make you have a heart attack or cause your Mercedes to crash.
All of this is why the old guard republicans are afraid to say or do anything. They’ve been there long enough to have a lot of dirt on them. If someone like Cruz gains much more traction, there’s no telling what they’ll do.
The only way to be safe is to get completely off the grid and live in the hills somewhere and keep your mouth shut. Then one day you’ll die in peace.
Man, that series is more real every day.
