Census faked 2012 election jobs report
New York Post ^ | 11/18/2013 | John Crudele

In the home stretch of the 2012 presidential campaign, from August to September, the unemployment rate fell sharply — raising eyebrows from Wall Street to Washington.

The decline — from 8.1 percent in August to 7.8 percent in September — might not have been all it seemed. The numbers, according to a reliable source, were manipulated.

And the Census Bureau, which does the unemployment survey, knew it.

Why isn’t this a Drudge Siren? If this were Bush it would be the lead story. Dan Rather would come out of retirement for it. This fits perfectly with the unavoidable wake up call the average american is now getting that this administration is the utterly dishonest and his policies amount to a fat piece of disaster.

And the Republicans will probably ignore this. Losers.

“Informed voters knew all of this”

"But stayed home to protest Romney"

I really tire of hearing that falsehood.
Please research the numbers yourself and become more intelligent about the subject.

The only thing that surprised me about their ‘fun with numbers’ was that they didn’t end up making the number even lower.

I fully expected them to say it was down to 6.9 just to get it under the 7 point number prior to the election.

And the Census Bureau, which does the unemployment survey, knew it.

Remember, the census was moved from Commerce to the White House in 2010.

Even if it true, so what? People are free not to vote. People are free to think both candidates are not worth their vote. Believe me, they weren’t.

More people voted for the R candidate when Romney ran (2012) than when McCain ran. The facts (numbers) don’t bear out the false narrative that conservatives stayed home to protest anything. More votes than the last presidential election (2008) would tend to belie the idea as presented.

As an aside, Obama’s numbers went down from the 2008 election (when he ran against McCain).

Last election was socialism versus socialism. I don’t think the conservatives stayed home though. The corpses certainly didn’t . . .

What’s unbelievable is the depth this administration went to to get Obama reelected. The mere magnitude of the coverups, lies and distortions , be it on Benghazi or with fudged numbers is staggering.

The MSM was complicit in allowing Obama and his corrupt minions to tell lie after lie so that their guy could sty in power.

Let’s see... romney manipulates and lies about winning Iowa... only a week later has to apologize and rescind his false Victory over Santorum... then he conspires with the SoS in two states to keep his two closest challengers off the ballot in those states... then romney goes into Florida spending more money than you can imagine and airing attack ads that were so under the belt and harsh... all against Newt... when he NEVER ran any such hard hitting ads against obama... then threw the election in the second debate when he refused to attack on Benghazi... contrast that with his attacks on Newt. romney never had any intention of winning and when he gained momentum in the first debate... he ensured his defeat in the second. I wish that I had never voted for that loser... but I did... and I can’t take it back.

Jail. Deported. Garrot. Firing squad. Guillotine. There are many possibilities if one is guilty.

“When it comes down to voting for socialism versus capitalism, I can’t understand any conservative staying home.”

That certainly wasn’t Obama versus Romney: proud socialism versus apologetic socialism. When there’s a dime’s worth of difference between the Democratic and Republican parties, let me know.

The point is that a lie is being proliferated about the numbers and it just is not so. I wish to take the opportunity to correct that mistake when I see it on FR because it makes us look stupid every time someone spouts the same tired lie about the true numbers in the 2012 election.

There are several sources you could choose to verify with if you care to do the relatively small amount of research required to see for yourself.

Finally, I believe wholeheartedly that choosing not to vote is equally as valid of a choice as chosing to vote. People just have to understand if they choose not to decide; that while they have still made a choice, it is not one that exerted any of their rights given ability to direct their fate WRT elected leadership.

It is debatable as to how much control over our own fate we really have when voting, but at the heart of the matter that is the one opportunity a given person has to bend fate to their will outside open revolution.
