November 12, 2013, 03:25 pm Palin: Clinton was right, Obama 'not qualified'
By Rebecca Shabad
Sarah Palin says former President Bill Clintons statements from 2008 about President Obama not being ready for the White House were on the mark.
In an interview to air Tuesday on CNNs The Lead with Jake Tapper," Palin recalled statements Bill Clinton made when Hillary Clinton was campaigning against Obama during the 2008 primary season.
"I'll never forget Bill Clinton saying about Barack Obama and his story, his agenda, that it was the biggest fairy tale he'd ever seen," Palin said during the CNN interview.
"And he was right, because Barack Obama was not qualified, he was not prepared, and the manifestation of that today is the problem that we see left and right in our economy," she said.
After watching a clip of Bill Clinton from the 2008 campaign trail, the biggest fairy tale the former president was referring to was Obamas earlier comments opposing the Iraq War, and slamming Hillary Clinton for not doing the same.
Palin's comments come the same day Bill Clinton said Obama should honor his promise that people could keep their health insurances plans under ObamaCare if they liked them.
Obama agrees with Bill Clinton, the White House later said. Spokesman Jay Carney said the president asked his team to look at options that would allow people to keep their insurance.
Palin will soon go on a national tour promoting her new book Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas.
The former GOP vice presidential nominee has previously expressed interest in running for the White House herself.
Heard Palin last night on Mark Levin. She’s going to be more active in 2014.
Ouch! That’s gotta hurt!
She’s right though. He may be a reprobate, but Clinton’s tenure as a Governor made him infinitely more qualified for the job.
Good. Hope her discernment has improved just a bit...no more Kelly Ayotte and her ilk.
CNN will force Tapper’s editor to cut it. And they won’t tell Jake.
MRS. WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE is just as inexperienced.
I LOVE what Sarah did here..she took a libs words..a lib that the left adores and said that she agrees with him..that must kill the liberals so much
onyx do you want to ping Sarah’s list she is pitting the Liberals against one another.
Sarah is the master (or, in this case, mistress) of political judo.
Well, lets not forget about Ann (Coulter) ;)
Clearly she’s been practicing since the Katie Couric ambush.
Annie is more like MMA.
Hillary isn’t qualified either.
The Clinton’s were terrified.to go after. Obama in 2008. Either they were confident of victory,or they didn’t want to alienate one of their bases.
Sarah knows that the best way to mess with liberals heads is to use their OWN words against them..that is how she twists that knife ever so deep which I enjoy SO much
HAHA NICE!! I missed the part about fatty fatty fat fat Christie..what did she say about him? Libs hate it, absolutely DESPISE it when a Conservative uses a liberals own words against them..it drives them even more batty then they already are
"I'll have a mocha latte with whip cream on top in a blue cup.
And don't spill any."
"Does anybody else want coffee?"
That resonated pretty good about fat boy's attempt to run to the right.
