Looks like she jumped out of the car because she thought she was being kidnapped.
I think it can happen easily.
I occasionally take Ambien to sleep. But I am very careful not to take it all the time, maybe once a week.
But as someone who values deep sleep highly, the urge is sometimes there to take it every night. If I didn’t know better, I could find myself hooked on that, and that is just for sleep.
I can imagine if you were someone in constant pain, it would be a very easy thing to get addicted to painkillers.

I wonder why she opened the door? Was she already impaired, or did something happen that she was trying to get away from the dealer?
Either way, RIP. I can’t condone what she was doing, and it sounds like a lot of people around her were ignorant or in denial about her being a pill junkie. Still, a young woman threw her life away before it ever really got started. That’s a sad thing, addict or not.

You dont have to PUSH Conazepam. The drug does it for you. Im guessing you have never dealt with addiction, drug addicts, or drug dealers before. It’s not like they are on the street corner forcing drugs down kids throats. The doctors are taking care of that, putting people on these substances then offering little to zero help getting them off of them.
You should save that.45 round for the doctors, pharma’s, and politicians who deserve it.

Just guessing here, she may not have had much experience making a street deal. The dealer may not have wanted to hang out there at the curb while she counted pills in the back. So he started to drive, maybe planning to drop her off around the block or something. She panicked, thinking something worse was happening.
UPDATE — 11/12: Prosecutors said Monday that Wawrzyniak paid Johnson $200 to buy 30 pills of clonazepam, an anti-anxiety medication, and jumped to her death from the vehicle when Johnson pulled away when Wawrzyniak said she wanted to count the pills. Johnson was ordered held on $300,000 bond.
Police responded about 8 p.m. Friday to a report of an accident with injuries in the 7400 block of West 115th Street in suburban Worth and found Wawrzyniak’s body there, Patch reports.
Jeanie Hughes, a close friend of Wawrzyniak’s family, told the Southtown Star they “believe that Brittany was a victim of violent crime,” though they still had little else to go on beyond rumors on Monday.
“We do believe that Brittany was a victim of violent crime,” Hughes said. But, she added that belief is based on rumors and not what police have told them.

Wawrzyniak wanted to get out of the car, and jumped out of the back seat, hitting her head on the pavement of a parking lot in Worth, prosecutors said.
Tully said Wawrzyniak’s dad dropped her off at a friend’s house around 6 p.m. Friday and several hours later she was found dead. And family members say her death was no accident.
“There was a possible fight and they threw her out of a truck, or she got thrown out of a truck, and dragged,” said Tully. “It doesn’t sound like it was an accident.”
That makes sense. Nervous buyer thinks the deal is going south, and panics. I can definitely see that happening.
