At this point, what difference does it make?
This is spin to set the battlefield before the survivors tell their story to Congress.
This is all being done to obsfucate, confuse, and discredit information about what happened that night.
I’ll listen to Lara Logan when she comes clean about what really happened to her in Tarir Square and what CBS did to squelch that information to project Soetoro at her expense.
The real question is: exactly what was President Obama doing the night of Sept. 12, 2013 at the White House while this attack was occurring?
Lara, let me know when 60 Minutes intends to air a show about that.
This is more baloney from 60 minutes. It’s too early in the game for them to be apologizing. They haven’t had enough time to thoroughly check out anything. It took them a year to run this story and only a couple of days to apologize? BS. The proper answer would have been, “We are checking into this.” The money from the Democrat party must have come through. We have the best news people the Democrats can buy. What a pathetic joke these people are.

Controversy over Jones’s interview and book reached a high pitch on Oct. 31 when The Washington Post published details of an incident report allegedly written by Jones that contradicts the account in his book and reveals his real name, Dylan Davies.
In an interview Saturday with The Daily Beast, Davies said he did not write the incident report, nor had he ever seen it.
“I am just a little man against some big people here,” Davies said. “They can do things, make up things, anything they want, I wouldn’t stand a chance.” Davies said he did not know who leaked the report to the Post but said he suspected it was the State Department, an allegation that could not be independently corroborated. “It would not be difficult to do,” Davies said. “I knew I was going to come in for a lot of flack and you know mud slinging, so yeah I’d say it was them, but I can’t be sure.”
In his interview with The Daily Beast, Davies said the version of the events contained in the incident report matched what he told his supervisor, called “Robert” in his book, who is a top Blue Mountain Group executive. Davies said he lied to Robert about his actions that night because he did not want his supervisor to know he had disobeyed his orders to stay at his villa. “He told me under no circumstances was I to go up there. I respected him so much I did not want him to know that I had not listened to him,” said Davies, referring to Robert. “I have not seen him since.”

1. Why the Ambassador and 3 other Americans died that night?
2. What the Ambassador was doing in Benghazi that night?
3. Why was there no effort to improve the Security in Benghazi, after repeated requests by the Ambassador?
4. Why there was no effort to defend, protect, or rescue the Ambassador that night?
5. Why were the teams who had prepared to deploy, to attempt a rescue, PROHIBITED from proceeding?
6. WHO Prohibited those teams from proceeding?
7. Who authorized the lie about the attack being a protest against a video?
8. Why did Susan Rice, President Obama, and YOU, Madame Secretary, continue to repeat that lie, for more than a week after you KNEW that was a LIE?

Folks, if FBI asks you “Were you at Benghazi?’ of course you would lie.
Because you’re either #1 innocently there, or #2 guilty of helping the terrorist attack.
If #1, then you probably noticed the White House issuing stand down orders to ensure the US compound gets burned to the ground while survivors were abandoned to die. You also noticed any final survivors in the days afterward getting intimidated and threatened into silence. Could a survivor be killed a few weeks later if Obamatollah feels he might talk? Ask the 2 FBI guys who ‘Fell out of the helicopter’ after the Boston Marathon attack.
If #2 (you helped the terrorists attack Benghazi) then I think we can all agree you wouldn’t brag about that to the FBI.
So either way, of course people are lying to FBI. It’s a convenient way to stay alive.

Their mistake was, they did an entire report on Benghazi without ever mentioning the names of Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton.
Let me guess the story was “Fake, but accurate”...
What is it he actually lied about? From my cursory reading of what is reported today (which I’m sure isn’t complete) it looks like he lied about actually being present during the attack. He lied to make himself appear more prominent.
Isn’t this the same thing Jesse Jackson did in reference to the assassination of Martin Luther King? He claimed he was cradling King in his arms as he died, when in fact that has been shown to be false. But does that mean King wasn’t killed, or that James Earl Ray can use Jackson’s lie to show he is innocent?
Ms Logan was probably threatened with a re enactment of her Cairo experience, and so, did as she was told..
