CALLER: Good afternoon, Rush. This is a pleasure for me to be able to speak to you today.
RUSH: Thank you, sir.
CALLER: You know, I've been a listener only since the days of Operation Chaos, and before that I was one of those hard-core Democrat union goons, but I've come a long way and have to thank you for that.
RUSH: Welcome home, sir. Welcome home.
CALLER: What I'm thinking about today is not... So the blood is in the water. Obama has been caught red-handed lying and doubling down. I'm thinking that maybe some of his other base groups are now gonna start to think, "Well, maybe I've been scammed and lied to as well." You know, he lied to the unions bald-faced in 2008 about Card Check. He needed their votes. He's lied to the greens. He's lied to the LGBTs.
He's lied to Israel about supporting them for no other reason than votes and support, and he thinks nothing about lying and doubling down on lying and deceit because it's more or less inbred into him. He's been raised, he's been mentored, he's been educated like that by people like Frank Marshall Davis and Derrick Bell, and it's in his nature to lie just as it is yours to tell the truth. But I think that now maybe some of these other groups that he's been scamming and taking advantage of or lying to over these last five years --
RUSH: I don't think that's gonna happen. I respectfully disagree. I don't think he's gonna do anything to upset his base here. His base is gonna support him because he lies. His base is gonna applaud him getting Obamacare passed with a lie. That's kind of thing they love. The people here that are perhaps movable at some point are what I call the low-information crowd, the people that are not passionately political but to whom their health care really matters. I mean, it's the most important thing in their life and they trusted the guy.
They voted for him.
They thought he was unique.
They thought he was a unifier!
They thought he was gonna bring people together, thought he was gonna fix problems. He's lied to them. He's destroyed the public trust. He told them they could keep their plans and he told them it was gonna be cheaper, and it's none of that. It's that group of people that he has broken this bond of trust with. No, his base is gonna applaud this. His base is gonna celebrate the fact he got this done by lying. That's the kind of thing that makes them happy. His base is corrupt as he is. They're never gonna abandon him.
It's the low-information crowd here that's at risk, and the media knows it.

RUSH: Okay. So look at this, folks. This is from The Daily Caller, and the headline: "Swing Voters Have Turned Against Obama, Says New Poll -- A new poll shows that non-ideological swing voters have walked away from President Barack Obama, which could sharply reduce his political influence and power." This is an Ed Goeas poll. You know, he's half of the Battleground Poll with Celinda Lake, and he's a good pollster. He did this poll with Brian Nienaber, and it's a poll of 1,000 likely voters, 60% swing voters, unfavorable image of Obama. Thirty-six percent favorable. It is the George Washington University Battleground Poll released yesterday.
Swing voters, I don't want to insult 'em here, but that's what I'm talking about, low-information voters, the non-base. Obama's base, I'm telling you, the Daily Kos kids, all these people out there, these Democrat Underground type sites, they're applauding Obama lying. Whatever it takes to beat us. The fact that he told this big a lie and got away with it and got health care, that makes him a superhero to them. The more deceitful you get away with being, the bigger Obama is to his base, folks. Remember, they're radicals. They're irrational, off the wall, deadbeat radicals. He's never gonna lose them. But there's a reason he's at 39%, and it's these nonideological types that believed everything he said.

The Obama wage-earner (not the free-loader or welfare case) will wake up in Mar, Apr and May...realizing that this deductible business (now up to 6,000)...is hampering the planned trip to Aruba, the new car desires for the fall, and basically cancelled out most of the 401k contribution they would have made for 2014.
Somewhere around summer of 2014...the new health insurance rates for 2015 will arrive...greatly increased in nature, and the Obama wage-earner will now start to feel some pains and wonder how exactly this whole thing makes any sense.
The theme for the November elections in 2014? It’s all about the upcoming recession, stagnant economy, and shock over healthcare costs. How would a Democrat running for the House or Senate explain their position? Eventually, even an idiot figures out that they’ve been screwed over.

Look for more folks to wake up and smell the coffee by the middle of next year.
Rush nails it......for everyone else, it is no longer possible to pretend that we have been told the truth. Nor is it possible to pretend that Barack Obama has been completely honest.

PJ Media's Roger Simon wrote that he believes Obama’s core belief — is an American form of "left-wing taqiyya" — the Muslim dictate that permits lying to non-believers for self-preservation.
No doubt "taquiya" instructs Obama's cool predeliction for lying. Bible-believing Christian Americans are nothing more than stepping stones for his outsized ambitions.
But Obama's debased ability to lie without batting an eyelash is an aged, poisonous home-brew spilling over into our increasingly shock-proof culture:

Obama and those who launched him into the presidency are of the same breed---products of corrupt Chicago criminal politics (attaining political office is considered an "investment".....the "return on investment" starts bigtime once in office).
Candidate Obama's PR person, Anita "Mao" Dunn, said the O Team allowed the media (and voters) to know only what "they" wanted them to know about the candidate.
Obama is, to this day, an unknown quantity---a closed book.

Absolutely great post, Liz. All this time I have been trying to point out that obama is not a saudi plant nor a sunni. He is iran’s boy all the way, has been since his ‘vacation’ in pakistan, and everything that he has done has been in favor of iran including turning over Iraq, Afghanistan, and the betrayal of Israel.
Well the sunni Muslims also believe in taqiyya as well.
Good. I wish nothing but the worst on them. May they all lose their jobs and healthcare. May they all go down and then maybe we can have a chance to rebuild this country.
I suspect that some of them may start to think otherwise once they realize that medical coverage is going to cost them big time $$$.

But he has betrayed the saudis as well. So much so that they have broken diplomatic ties with us. His loyalties are with iran. That is why he sought out valerie jarrett using a gullible michelle to meet her. He is an evil, evil man.
Regarding the base..... Obama has fallen, below 40%. At 39% approval, he is approaching his base.
His low point will be 36% because that is his hardcore base.
