Todd McCullough, a 28-year-old teacher at Saltsburg High School, was arraigned Thursday on rape and related charges in connection to the April 2012 incident that state police say occurred in a back room near the shop where McCullough taught. But police only learned of the alleged assault last week after another student told school officials she was hearing rumors that she was

A few days later, McCullough allegedly asked the girl to stay after class before raping her in the back room, Matchik said.
God be with that poor girl and her entire family who are also victims.

About 20 miles from where I grew up...Saltsburg used to be a major stop on the Pennsylvania Canal. I did some calligraphy for some of the certificates presented on their annual ‘Canal Days’ celebration...

Oh come on, why can’t Todd use the female teacher rapist excuse that it was “really love”? Come on, let’s be equal treatment here.
And why such a harsh term as “rape”? When female teachers do this to minor male students it’s technically rape but never reported as “rape” in the headline. Cmon.
Effing hypocrites.

Hell be getting a full ride scholarship to State Penn. Only because he diddled girls instead of boys.

Sad but true.
Most teaching positions here in SW Pennsylvania pay very, very well. So well, in fact, that in our district there are hundreds of applicants for every rare opening.
If this guy was hired straight out of college, you can almost bet that there is a family relationship with the school board, district administration, etc. which prompted the hire.
Most teachers who get hired without such a relationship either have a rare skillset (math, science or a foreign language or two) experience elsewhere (usually someplace like West Virginia or the states south thereof where teacher pay isn't so attractive.
