Outrage drove Captain Ahab relentlessly after that great white whale, and apparently, it drives Sen. Dick Durbin too.
Durbin, the unctuous Democrat running for re-election in President Barack Obama's political home state, is consumed by outrage. This time Durbin is outraged by an unidentified Republican who may have disrespected the face of the president, even if the White House says the insult that Durbin is outraged about didn't happen.

I kinda admire that Grayson won’t apologize. Wish more Republicans could respond like Grayson’s spokeperson. I mean respond so to leftists
The framers actually expected no shortage of demagogues in the House of Reps. That is the nature of popular assemblies.
What they didn’t remotely consider was the presence of such men in the Senate.
Jim Oberweis is a Republican, successful Business man running against Dickie Durbin in 2014.
I have been collecting signitures for him.
John McCain was in Chicago Oct 28th DEFENDING DICK DURBIN!!
McCain will join Illinois Senator Dick Durbin at the City Club of Chicagos Public Policy Breakfast.
From the release:
U.S. Senators Dick Durbin (D-IL) and John McCain (R-AZ) will make a joint appearance at the City Club of Chicagos Public Policy Breakfast. Durbin and McCain worked together to help craft the bipartisan Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act which was approved by the Senate on a bipartisan basis in June.
Durbin and McCain were both first elected to Congress in 1982 and have served together in the Senate for seventeen years. In addition to their efforts on immigration reform, the two work together as members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
The Senators will each deliver opening remarks and then together take questions submitted by the audience on a range of topics and read by a moderator. They will hold a media availability following their appearance.
McCain is also scheduled for an off-the-record talk at theUniversity of Chicagos Institute of Politics. Hell be introduced by Institute Director David Axelrod.
Folks, here is just another example of why Senator John McCain is a traitor to the Republican Party. On October 28, McCain came to the support of Democrat Dick Durbin, one of the worst, most partisan hacks for leftism in the Senate.
Last week Durbin promulgated the outright lie that Republican House members insulted President Obama to his face in a meeting at the White House. Durbin not only pushed the lie he sent out fundraising letters using the lie as its chief message.
Durbin told the nation that Republicans said to Obamas face that they cannot stand to even look at him. This was a lie. It never happened and even the White House agreed that it never happened.
Almost immediately Durbin was informed that he was pushing a lie. But he did not back down. In fact, he sent out fundraising emails built on the lie.
Finally, a few days went by and he tried to back peddle. And who came flying to his side to help him smooth over a lie that was intended to destroy Republicans? You guessed it, purported Republican John McCain!
WLS Bill Cameron filed a story showing that McCain stood by this scumbags side as Durbin tried to spin his way out of being the liar that he is.
Folks, this is just more proof that John McCain is no Republican and should be shunned by all in his party. John McCain is a party traitor. He needs to be eliminated from the Senate.
NO Republican should EVER stand by this creep, Durbin. He is a hack, an extremist, and a lair that uses every avenue to destroy the right. He is not the sort of person that should be worked with. He is the sort that needs to be defeated, not associated with.
Remember, Durbin is the same liberal scumbag who said our soldiers are just like the Nazis
That’s because they put the selection of senators in the care of the state legislatures, rather than a popular vote. Once senators degenerated into statewide super-congressmen, all bets were off.
They didn’t foresee the 17th Amendment.
I really can’t stand to look at him. Doing so evokes the gag reflex.
Shunning would be a good start. When I say that John McCain is the reason I left the GOP, it might be more accurate to say that it was because the Republicans would not call the SOB on the carpet no matter how outrageously the geriatric delinquent behaved. Nothing this pasty old sack of mean did merited so much as a scolding from whatever adults were left in the room at the GOP, and you could watch him get a little bolder and a little nastier each time, until he reached the point where he knew - absolutely KNEW - that he was untouchable.
Well, maybe the GOP-e could sanction McCain's temper tantrums, his overweening ego and his lordly, eternal assumption that US troops were his own personal servants to do with as he wished, but I wasn't going to be a part of it in any way, shape or form. They and Dick Durbin are perfect together.
Just Turban Durbin being his usual misinformed obnoxious self.
It’s the Good Old Boys Club.
They help each other so they can keep screwing the American people.
