Obamacare may just be the cold slap across the face that brings some Americans back into reality. Unfortunately, it’s to late.
All the extra money required for Obamacare stops people from eating out, or eating at all like they used to. It stops them from taking trips, going to the movies, buying as many clothes or being able to afford much more than rags compared to the past.
In other words the private sector dies hard as government grows and confiscates your play money or survival money for health care.
Look for no one to afford Real Estate anymore and for us to have to go to multigenerational 100 year mortgages as many in Europe have had to do.
Life is basically over as we knew it with Obamacare and not over in a good way.
ALMOST????? Duh.
Incentives are built into ObamaCare to encourage large companies to dump health insurance.
Not within 75 miles of DC it won’t.
Sounds like your making Obama’s strategy work, the same Strategy that Whitaker Chambers wrote about in “Witness”,create Chaos, then come in on your white horse with the Progressive communist solution,in this case Universal, single payer insurance.
He also explained that at the time when he was a member of the communist party,it was the time of the Red Scare, people were really fearful of the Soviet menace,so the Communist party here decided on a new Moniker, that’s right they decided to call themselves Progressives so as not to scare people.
Guess what Hillary has been calling herself for awhile now?
That’s right,Progressive,we already know what Obama is
what did people expect - Obama was elected through fraud - why would he tell the truth about anything...
I’m sorry - but the people in his administration need to be arrested and tried for treason - Obama needs to be impeached and put in jail from crimes against the US public...
...but alas...no real men were elected to Congress - just more traitors...
This m’fer has to go. Feet first or in chains. It’s either him or us. This isn’t a president, this is a criminal!
Is there any part left to wreck?
BEFORE the recession, Richard Clarks cleaning company in Florida had 200 employees, about half of them working full time. These days it has about 150, with 80% part-time.
So, he lost 50 full time workers, and 30 previously full-time positions are now part-time. Yep, that's totally great for business and the economy.
I am utterly convinced that those who are for schemes such as Obamacare are the mathematically challenged.
Sorry. No sympathy here. Maybe she should have studied the candidates and issues more before she polluted the system with her vote.
Please allow me a contrarian view on the economy.
Yes, the private sector is under assault, from the impairment of credit, to the attempted squelching of energy, the printing of money, the growing deficit, and increasing regulations, and perhaps the worst-Obamacare.
But, capitalism is very, very resilient. I am a small business owner, and three years ago, I didn’t think I’d make it this far. I may not make it yet.
Here are the few positives that only a few seem to be recognizing.
1-Businesses have, out of necessity, had to increase productivity. And that is happening. We have hunkered down, cut expenses, and rallied our employees.
2-Energy. In spite of Obama, there’s an oil and natural gas boom going on in this country. Cheap natural gas is bringing manufacturing jobs back to the US. Gas prices are down 10 to 12 percent in the last couple of months. This is a huge benefit to consumers and business.
3-The underground economy has grown in leaps and bounds, and cannot be measured. I know this because my business brings me in contact with those working for cash. The growing welfare programs, including disability payments, is creating this phenomenon.
4-Banks are not lending, because of Dodd-Frank over-scrutiny and meddling, but non-bank entities have cropped up to fill the void.
Am I saying the economy is flourishing? Heck no. I am saying that capitalism-the private sector, is like a weed, that is very difficult to kill, even for the regime now in power determined to kill it.
Keep the faith. We’ll make it through this.
“It is almost as if Obamacare was specifically designed to wreck the U.S. economy.”

Yeah, just like my old F-150 almost seems to have been specifically designed to transport passengers and light freight on roads. Amazin’, ain’t it?
Even if you are able to keep your job, there is no guarantee that your employer will continue to offer health insurance as an employee benefit. In fact, it is being reported that large numbers of employers have already decided to no longer offer health insurance to their employees because of Obamacare.
That’s looks like what is going to happen to us. Small firm. We were advised of massive increases the Co. can’t afford so we will most likely be dumped into the crappy exchanges to fend for ourselves. I am sorely tempted to just go “naked”. But I don’t think I can even afford that.
*snorts*
Who needs ten signs? It only takes one: It’s from the government and it’s here to “help”.
Only Representatives and Senators who are abject cowards could refuse to repudiate this horrible, horrible law.
This kind of Tyrannical, prosperity-destroying statism is the stuff that Revolutions are made of.
The media had also better wake up and start to help the People get rid of this abomination.
The President has been exposed as a Tyrannical liar, and only the most willfully blind cannot see it.
0bama should be impeached over this fraud.
No President in US history has done more intentional damage to the Union, and it's time for the People who are still patriots to say ENOUGH!
I don't think there's a snowball's chance in Hell that the Democratic Party will be able to live this debacle down, or justify it to the American people.
The Republic is at stake, and it's time for the People and the Republican party to realize that, and act accordingly.
These are the times that try men's souls.

Pretty sure this is going to happen to us. I’m sure we’ll get an EARFUL at the Shareholder’s Dinner next weekend!
