Imagine if George Bush had given a no bid $600 million contract to some big donors for a web site that has utterly failed. The media would have a field day and be howling for his resignation. With Obama just crickets from the media and half hearted nothing from the GOP. I fear that Obama could rip up the Constitution and declare himself dictator and there would be nothing but praise in the media and scarcely a whimper from the GOP.

In addition Issa's panel on F&F caused Holder to have a much lower profile. Even though he's not in an orange jumpsuit he is no longer emboldened to do the extreme damage he would have done if there had been no hearings.

I have said that for a long time and received many scoldings from freepers. But I stand by it just like I always have.

The Republicans are now the party of huff, puff, cry, cave.
