Health insurance cancellation notices soar above Obamacare enrollment rates (NJ - 800,000)

**SNIP**

Nearly 800,000 New Jersey residents’ health-care plans will not longer exist in 2014, forcing insurers to create new ones for individuals and small business owners that hew to the Obamacare’s new regulations, The New Jersey Star Ledger found in early October.

“I don’t feel like I need to change, but I have to,” Jeff Learned, a television editor in Los Angeles, told Kaiser Health News. Learned now needs to scramble to find a plan to coverage his teenage daughter, whose health problems have required several surgeries.

More Americans have lost their individual health coverage in Florida and California than have gotten past the login screen on HealthCare.gov, according to The Washington Post, which reports that 476,000 applications have “been started,” but not completed. HealthCare.gov’s dysfunctional website has helped enrollment grind to almost a complete halt. (RELATED: HealthCare.gov contractor: We had only two weeks to test site)

Odummy could have delayed this past next year’s elections.

But instead “he won.”

I have no sympathy for those in the deep blue states that voted for this, now they must live with the consequences of their actions............

All these cancellations will move the enrollments numbers up at the obammacare website, which makes obamma looks good.

“...The Washington Post, which reports that 476,000 applications have “been started,” but not completed....”
*************************************************************
This “been started” figure is bogus. In the first days of the website I logged on to (out of curiosity) find out how much coverage would cost for my family. To get to the point (which I was never able to do) of finding out the cost of various plans offered in your area, you had to actually enter your data (name, SSN, etc.) and I did that. I’d be willing to bet that my name is included among the “been started” count. These management information counts are clearly BS and are being misrepresented.

Obamacare is making their own customers by making Insurance cancel those who already had insurance.

Instead of giving Insurance to 30 Million people he is screwing 50 million people out of it.

How long can we continue with this azzhole making a 3rd world country out of America.

Which would be a fine generalization to make, but all the rest of us are going to eventually be dragged along with it like Ahab was with the harpoon-encrusted Moby Dick.

And it won’t make a difference what state you are in.

When the voters finally see what they are going to pay for ‘free’ healthcare they will be incensed, no matter what party they pay homage to. They WILL take their retribution at the polls in November...........

Twice as many people in New Jersey have been cancelled than have created accounts nationwide.

(now) applications 'been started' and (not that long ago) jobs 'saved'.

sniff-sniff...smells familiar.

The fact that so many people are being forced out of their health plans and employer provided ones means that we should not be fooled into using the metric of how many enroll in Obama care as the measure of success. By necessity, the numbers will go up.

The real problems with Obama are higher premium costs, deductibles and co-pays. Also, the Medicaid rolls will soar as close to 20 million people will be channeled into the program, which increases to the costs to the taxpayer and decrease access. As bad as the process is, the substance is even worse.
