ObamaCare sign-up delay amid Dem fears of midterm backlash

The White House is delaying the deadline to buy health insurance by six weeks amid growing House Democratic concerns that the ObamaCare enrollment site’s botched rollout will prevent them from winning the House in 2014.

Congressional Democrats believe they have a real opportunity to bump Republicans from power because of the government shutdown, which dealt a serious blow to GOP poll numbers.

Their momentum will disappear, they say, if problems persist with HealthCare.gov.

Still, many Democrats outwardly said they have little concern that the current website problems will resound at the polls a year from now.

“By the time we get to 2014, it is my belief that this will long be fixed,” said Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio), head of the Congressional Black Caucus.

“People will already be seeing the benefits of it, and I think we’ll be fine.”

They’ve got absolutely nothing to fear because the voters are going to remember the rage they felt toward Republicans for causing the Government Shut Down that deprived the entire population of everything important to them in life.

By this time next year, ObamaCare is going to be handing out free Paxil and Haldol to everyone, and the Democrats will sail to an unprecedented victory in the mid-term elections.

Any Republican who doesn’t ride that obommycare horse is insane.

Don’t even worry about the access issues (600 MILLION DOLLARS!) — just grab the middle class people who will go bankrupt paying for their new “low payments.” Then grab the McD’s of 29 hours who will pay 15% of their gross to get a chance of a plan with $20,000 deductibles.

R’s the gods have given you a gift.

Do not pass on it.

The White House is delaying the deadline to buy health insurance by six weeks

Actually I think the White House needs to ask the House of Representatives to delay the deadline. The House majority party then needs to grab the White House by the gonads with big pliers and dictate the conditions under which they will grant the request.

“By the time we get to 2014, it is my belief that this will long be fixed,” said Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio), head of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Whatever you're smoking, just keep it up.

House GOP should refuse any delay. They are totally legitimate in telling Obama, RATS and MSM to go pound sand and more.

NO DELAY.

It’s the law.

Obama shut the government down in order to fend off a Republican delay.

Let him start the fines for not being able to purchase crap nobody wanted to buy anyway.

And after a good long excruciating squeeze of the pliers, tell them “no”.

After all the things the Dems did and said, their outrageous insults, their accusations, their petty & spiteful shutdown, talking down the stock market... no. No. NO.

Make them grovel. Then tell them no.

They’re delusional, even when the internet website/logistical problems are fixed, this program still won’t work, and the American people can only blame Dems. if the Republicans keep up the REPEAL mantra!

It’s absolutely sickening to see these Dems, and people like Rubio, now proposing legislation (as if though it is some kind of new, great, bi-partisan idea) to delay Obama Care.

It’s only been ONE WEEK folks! One week since the Tea Party and conservatives were ridiculed for holding to their guns to keep the government closed until the Democrats would do JUST THIS SAME THING!

Now they want us to forget all of that and act like these people are “riding to the rescue.”

It’s because they are afraid of the mid-terms and they scewered the conservatives and pushed them aside and to the curb, so they could now bring the same plan forward as if though it is their idea.

We can’t forget. We can’t let them take us for such fools. We MUST remember in 2014 at the voting booth and give conservatives the House and Senate. It is clear that they were right all along and Boehner now looks the fool for going along with giving into the Dems so the Dems can turn right around and propose the same thing.

The Repubs ought to be able to crush the Dems. But it’s guaranteed that the RINOs will rescue the Dems.

Along with the Dems a number of Repubs have got to go. The political establishment is completely at odds with the country.

The Gov. shutdown is over and there was no default this will be forgotten as well. Next year's enrollment in Obamacare & S/S will be in full force. F the polls these elections are local.
