And this is going to prevent what? They will just go down the street, use an ATM and walk back to the liquor store, strip club or horse track.

Why are they allowed to use those cards at ATMs at all?

I live in Detroit and this is a stupid law. There is a serious lack of banks and grocery stores in the city of Detroit. The only ATM options many people have is the gas station and the liquor store. unfortunately many people grocery shop at the liquor stores, higher prices and low quality. Who’s going to be responsible for changing out the ATM’s or retrofitting them? This is costing small business money because the government won’t get to the root of the problem. I hate when government makes laws that cost business money to fix the problems created by government

I worked at a Chaldean grocery store in Detroit in the 70’s.

Back then it was 50 cents on the dollar. They could buy whatever they wanted but the net gain was half.

Back then they actually had stamps.

This article made me curious.

So I checked on the use of ATMs in California with ETB cards.

It appears the bottom feeders in California can get cash at an ATM like those of us with cash in a bank.

If you can get cash, you can buy anything from drugs, sex and an illegal gun and the bullets for the gun. Then, the ferals can use that gun to kill their neighbors or competitive ferals.
