Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich fired back at conservative author and columnist Ann Coulter for remarks she made about him on “Hannity” Monday.
-snip- “That’s kind of weird. I helped lead us to the first Republican majority in the House in 40 years. I helped develop with Bill Clinton the first four – the only four – balanced budgets in her lifetime. We helped pass welfare reform. I would’ve thought all those would have counted against the number of books she’s sold. But, you know, people have got to go out and say something to sell books and she’s found her shtick. It’s attacking conservatives and sort of being the odd person out.”

Newt and Ann deserve each other.
Coulter’s slobbering love affair with Gov. Chris Crispy Crème pretty much destroyed any cred she had with conservatives, including myself. One might forgive her for mistakenly believing in him in the beginning, but when she refused to let him go after he strapped on the political knee pads and ‘serviced’ Obama during superstorm Sandy...that’s when she lost me.
Ann talks about events. Gingrich made events happens.
Newt and Ann Coulter are both yesterdays news.
Ann is trying to make a come back attacking Conservatists.
This is a fight I’d like to see go to a firearms duel and end up in a draw, both losing.
That same Christie which appointed a open homosexual to the bench in NJ and was proud of it and then the court rules for homosexual sham marriage.
Her books are a flop now because nobody believes she is conservative after she supported Romney against all the conservatives, and Chris Christie, in addition to calling Newt Gingrich crazy on Red Eye late one night on Fox.

Coulter’s books are well-researched and well worth the study. I would find it strange that anybody who has studied her works would write the things you wrote.

Mark Levin accuses Ann Coulter (and BillO) of using what is a perfect opportunity to discuss Newt’s comments last night on changing the judiciary to instead trash him in favor of her candidate, calling him bombastic and minimizing him by saying that he never achieves anything anyway:

Yes, that surprised me and though it obscene at the time. However, Newt has done so much more for our conservative principles I can forgive him for that one mistake.
