Our Lord and Savior has shuffled off the mortal coil of my father and called him home to his kingdom after 63 yrs. of faithful service on Earth.
He leaves behind a grateful, joyful, and sadenned Wife, Son, Daughter, Grandchildren, and friends.
Thank you all for the prayers and support from this thread that explained his final fight.

2 Timothy 4:7
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
So very sorry for your loss. Sincere prayers for comfort to you and yours.
What a comfort it is to know that your father is home with His heavenly Father because he is in Christ and there is joy in your sorrow. May the good Lord strengthen and comfort you and your family.
“Well done, good and faithful servant”
Blessings to your family

I cannot say, and will not say
that he is dead. He is just away.
With a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand,
he has wandered into an unknown land
and left us dreaming how very fair
it needs must be, since he lingers there.
And you— oh, you, who the wildest yearn
for an old-time step, and the glad return,
think of him faring on, as dear
in the love of there as the love of here.
Think of him still as the same. I say,
he is not dead— he is just away.
With a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand
he has wandered into an unknown land,
and left us dreaming how very fair
it needs must be, since he lingers there.
And you— O you, who the wildest yearn
for the old-time step and the glad return—,
think of him faring on, as dear
in the love of There as the love of Here;
Think of him still as the same, I say:
He is not dead— he is just away.
—James Whitcomb Riley (1849-1916).
