US intelligence assets in Mexico reportedly tied to murdered DEA agent

Few remember Enrique 'Kiki' Camarena, the DEA agent killed in the line of duty almost 30 years ago, when the War on Drugs was the talk of Washington.

"On February 7, 1985, Special Agent Camarena was kidnapped by the traffickers," then First Lady Nancy Reagan somberly told a room full of anti-drug advocates. "He was tortured and beaten to death."

Camarena's killer was sentenced to 40 years in jail. Now, he's free after serving only 28 years. And those who knew the agent and became close to his family are fighting to see that his story is not forgotten.

"I think the American people, at least, owe him for the sacrifice that he made to ensure that the people that took his life, that subjected him to torture over a three day period of time are held accountable and brought to justice, says Jimmy Gurule’, the former Assistant U.S. Attorney in Los Angeles.

Gurule’ indicted Rafael Caro Quintero for Camerena’s murder. But it would be in a federal Mexican courtroom that the powerful drug cartel leader was convicted of murder.

Today, however, Quintero is gone, released from jail by Mexican judges nine weeks ago on a legal technicality. In doing so, Mexico ignored a U.S. extradition request and also never informed Washington of his release. Two days later, the White House released a statement saying it was "deeply concerned" Quintero was free.

"I'm deeply disappointed about a lot of things," Gurule’ told Fox News. "But we're talking about the release of the murderer of a DEA agent. I think that's a very shameful statement. The government should be outraged. I'm outraged. The DEA is outraged. The Camarena family is outraged."

Outraged because of how Camarena died and the role Quintero played.

'Tosh Plumlee claims he was hired to fly covert missions on behalf of U.S. intelligence. He says he flew C-130s in and out of Quintero's ranch and airports throughout Central America in the 1980s.

"The United States government played both ends against the middle. We were running guns. We were running drugs. We were using the drug money to finance the gun running operation," says Plumlee, who now works in Colorado.'

Ten or twenty years ago I always dismissed such reports as leftist claptrap —I never listened and this bilge angered me.

You know what?

I COMPLETELY BELIEVE IT, NOW.

It just seems that the goal of the Federal government is to create and further exacerbate problems which demand a government solution. Poverty, drugs, wars, health care, education, the environment etc, etc.
In the aggregate, we have the most corrupt, dysfunctional and irrational government in the world.

Ping...

Once again, we see the offence that leads to execution by new world order has to do with messing with “their” money system. Investigating the “money” aspect of drugs leads inevitably to the international banking establishment, a link that new world order needs to keep secret in order to not expose the network that includes drugs, banking, intelligence, government, all under the control of financial elites who are publicly known as legitimate leaders of business, quiet/eccentric/philanthropist billionaires, highly esteemed government officials, etc.

More from this must-read article...

Using a series of wiretaps, the DEA and Camarena were making sizeable drug busts inside Mexico, including one that cost Quintero $2.5 billion.

“Camarena was kidnapped and murdered because he came up with the idea that we needed to chase the money not the drugs,” said Berrellez, who led the investigation into Camarena’s murder. “We were seizing a huge amount of drugs. However, we were not really disrupting the cartels. So he came up with the idea that we should set up a task force and target their monies.”

In February 1985, as Camarena left to meet his wife for lunch outside the U.S. consulate in Guadalajara, he was surrounded by Mexican intelligence officers from the DFS, a Mexican intelligence agency that no longer exists.

“Back in the middle 1980’s, the DFS, their main role was to protect the drug lords,” Berrellez claims.

U.S. intelligence documents obtained by Fox News support that assessment: “Drug smugglers/transporters employed by Rafael Caro Quintero were always provided protection prior to moving a drug load....two DFS agents (would) accompany the smugglers at all times to avoid any problems.”

Blindfolded and held at gunpoint, the DFS agents took Camarena to one of Quintero’s haciendas five miles away.

Over 30 hours, Quintero and others crushed Camarena’s skull, jaw, nose and cheekbones with a tire iron. They broke his ribs, drilled a hole in his head and tortured him with a cattle prod. As Camarena lay dying, Quintero ordered a cartel doctor to keep the U.S. agent alive.

“At that point he administered lidocaine into his heart to keep him alert and awake during the torture,” said Berrellez.

After the cartel dumped Camarena’s body on a nearby ranch, the DEA closed in on Quintero at the Guadalajara airport.

“Upon arrival we were confronted by over 50 DFS agents pointing machine guns and shotguns at us—the DEA. They told us we were not going to take Caro Quintero,” says Berrellez, recalling the stand-off. “Well, Caro Quintero came up to the plane door waved a bottle of champagne at the DEA agents and said, ‘My children, next time, bring more guns.’ And laughed at us.”

...

“Our intelligence agencies were working under the cover of DFS. And as I said it before, unfortunately, DFS agents at that time were also in charge of protecting the drug lords and their monies,” said Berrellez.

“After the murder of Camarena, (Mexico’s) investigation pointed that the DFS had been complicit along with American intelligence in the kidnap and torture of Kiki. That’s when they decided to disband the DFS.”

I vaguely recall the name, and the murder.
This is the first time that I had heard the particulars of circumstances of his torture and death
I am sure the circumstances would have been much too graphic for the banal media of 1985 . Thank you for the insight

The drug trade is the most securely protected unlawful industry in history. There is so much money and power to be had from it that our elected leaders will never allow it to be destroyed.

William “Tosh” Plumlee was involved with the Contra effort.

As were pilots Barry Seal & Terry Reed.

As was Col Ollie North.

I have been to Mena many times.

I studied this as much as is possible in the mid 1990’s. (after the facts) Terry Reed's book “Compromised” came out in 1995. I talked to locals in Mena about it. They did not want to talk about what went on at Nella.

The illegal Contra Effort began in mid 1984.

There were accusations of drug involvement by the CIA back then. I doubt that Reed was involved, suspect Barry Seal was (he was killed assassinated execution style), don't know about Plumlee.

Would not be surprised if Bill Clinton's cohorts in AR were involved in the drug trade. They were laundering the money from the arms sales that financed the Contra Efforts for 10% of the action. That was what Whitewater covered up.

That effort wound up in Guadalajara after things got too hot in AR.

I have heard accusations about Bush (the elder) involvement, but still do not believe that.

But I recently heard that MX is now a center for Global Banking. If that report is true, and I suspect it is, this is more credible.

MX is dangerous evil place. But I am not sure of what to believe about this article.

Clinton was a Rhodes scholar; that’s being accepted into a new world order program.

Cecil Rhodes was a preeminent new world order operator financed by Rothschild money; you’ll find that he was psycho-over-the-top new world order.

Bush family goes way back in being involved in new world order, way back.

It burst my bubble to find out the rumors were true, but in the end, it’s better to accept reality.

Absolutely not, new world order (financial elites) would not allow it.

NWO operatives have been at the forefront of espionage since at least the days of international banking being centered in Italy, back when Venice was the “superpower”.

Those bankers migrated north as Europe developed, and subverted all those governments.

Those same interests ran Britain’s opium and slave trades, largely through the East India Company.

Loans and investment from those same financial interests financed America’s growth, through it’s wealthiest families and “Wall Street”.

In the 1800’s the opium trade was public knowledge, but it has faded into history. FDR’s grandfather Warren Delano made his fortune in the opium business.

Nowadays, the sheeple are told to believe that some mysterious “drug lords” are at the top of the drug business and somehow... mysteriously... we can’t find out who they are or arrest them.

Somehow the banking system and government manage to cooperate with amazing efficiency to follow up on the sheeple, freeze their accounts, confiscate their accounts, etc. Millions of sheeple can’t escape the control of government and banking. If you owe taxes to the IRS, they will simply send a tax lien to your bank and your bank will suck every cent out of your account up to the amount of the lien. If the government actually does target a nation or criminal group, they use laws in place to simply tell the banks to lock up or confiscate their assets, and the bank complies that same day. If the government comes with search warrants for records of a particular individual, the bank will quickly comply and send all the person’s or business’s records.

Now the top-end of the drug industry hierarchy needs to do bank transfers running into the hundreds of millions, using the same banking system.

These transfers go on continually, as private jets fly the top-level large shipments of drugs in and out of nations.

The essence of this article is points out what others have pointed out in the past, that the top drug lords are protected. By who - how - why ?

Somehow - mysteriously - the government and the banks just “can’t seem to figure out” the “complex trail of transactions”, etc., etc.., etc. Any transaction can be looked up in seconds by banking staff. The people who have the power to do something know exactly how to find out what they need to, they just know better than to mess with new world order’s money transfers. Seizing drugs (product) is not so much a problem - it puts on a big PR show for politicians and law enforcement, and while it hurts a bit, it’s just an occasional business expense, in a business where the markup covers it. But the big offense to new world order is letting the public know that the banking establishment and government are actually working for the masters of the drug business - new world order. It points out that new world order conspiracy is true. It IS a conspiracy to subvert a government so that it does not prosecute the worst criminals. And, since a number of these banks are primary dealers in US Treasury bonds, the whole scope of the conspiracy starts to come into view.

So the sheeple must never know that the bank their own money is deposited in is a new world order bank - which also allows drug lords to launder their cash, and also is part of the syndicate that lends to the US government, which keeps them in financial shackles as debt-tax slaves.

The new world order leadership had its operatives start US intelligence services in WWII, to run as a subsidiary of British intelligence. This OSS was based where ? In new world order’s convenient capital in America, NYC, where their investment banking, NY branch of the Fed, Council on Foreign Relations, and United Nations, are all close by in the city in which they go to work every day. They could stop by any of these places, relay orders, and be home for dinner. Though the successor CIA first was led by a military guy, it was not long before NWO men jumped in and took power of it, never to relinquish it.

Most large raids - with great newspaper pictures of all drugs seized - are from one groups of baddies turning in another group of baddies. I don't know who's behind this - but the 'good guys' are obviously not working too hard at catching these folks... If the NSA has all our conversations they know who these guys are... and they're not doing squat.
