The United States will move about 200 Marines to a U.S. base at Sigonella, Italy from one in Spain in the next day or so, U.S. military officials said on Tuesday, bolstering the U.S. ability to respond to any crises after its raid in Libya.

Am betting that 0bama is pissed ... lol.
wtf
Where were these guys posted during Benghazi
What raid?
Oh, that raid.
Love it ... especially in this the present, when our Military People Know they cannot trust 0bama and the democRATs. Dear Military, Please Continue to keep them out of the loop. Love it when this regime walks out and takes credit for things which were kept from them ... lol.
Uh, rapid response team? Used to be just for cops when seconds count we’re minutes away. Now it’s for the military too? When seconds count we’re only months away thanks to our useless decision makers. Not the grunts fault for sure.
Two U.S. officials told CNN that in the past few days, 250 combat-ready Marines have moved from their base in Moron, Spain, to the U.S. naval installation at Sigonella, Italy. That would enable them to reach Tripoli, the capital of Libya, in three to four hours in the event of a crisis.
Seems to be the new standard operating procedure.
I didn’t mean to imply it was the grunts fault, I meant to imply ubama had these guys available for Benghazi and didn’t do anything with them
I didn’t think you were implying that. I understood what you were saying. Lack of leadership is the issue. Not lack of the troops being willing to go help.
Wouldn’t the 6th Fleet have had an MEU attached to it at the time of Benghazi? And aren’t MEU’s really good at breaking into countries, killing bad guys and breaking their stuff?
Probably Rota in southwest Spain on the Atlantic coast.
The little islamist setting up the murders of even more Americans.
Not to mention the Special Forces in Tripoli at the time...
What happened to the Special Forces we had in Libya that “lost” armored vehicles, night vision devices and weapons?
