Day 4 of shutdown: Vets are going to need wire cutters to visit WWII memorial.
The fences/barricades were not wired shut when I was here on Tuesday.
I don’t get it. It’s almost as if obama has started hating the Military/Industrial/Academic Complex. But how can that be?

This weekend. Everyone within a day trip of DC should go there and dismantle this.
Arrest those installing the barricades for destruction of government property.
Charge those who ordered the barricaded the Memorial with misappropriation of government funds,..obligating government resources when no funding has been authorized.
Of course the "You are leaving the American sector" sign will now have to include Spanish too.
Who’s going to file those charges?
The simple solution is to go with a scrum of trusted friends, each with wire cutters. Then swarm around each wire, cutting it. They won’t be able to convict anyone of the “crime” because of the doubt as to who it was. Of course, this must all be spontaneous, with no evidence of a conspiracy.
Maybe one guy could just buy a bunch of cheap wire cutters, and hand them out to vets as a gift thanking them for their service.
Has he gone a step to far? Will Americans stand up or capitulate.
That small piece of wire could trigger a revolt against his comunist manifesto.
Are his troops ready? Are ours?
This is an important moment in our history will citizens roll over and accept a dictator or fight for their freedoms. This small piece of wire is an act of war. Who does this country belong to? Closing this memorial is more than a fight over a budget stalemate. It is a direct statement against the freedom that these vets fought for. The state is your master and we have taken your freedoms is the message here. Will their sacrifice be for nothing? Is this really what America wants for itself?

Hussein is totally evil to do this, the scum of all scum. I hope a Vet cuts that wire and goes in. I say, “go in”, but there is nowhere to go in since the memorial is totally out in the open. It is asinine to put bars around something that is just there on concrete.
Of all Hussein has done, impeach him for this.

That would be tyranny, which applies when a state has become unreasonable and therefore unjust/un-free. Plus...I doubt a WWII vet cares much about having a criminal record the last few years they have. To once more assault a barricade in a fight for liberty...
NOthing a pair of wirecutters won’t cure.
