This week, Ben Carson said that shortly after he gave a much-publicized speech criticizing ObamaCare at the National Prayer Breakfast, he found himself audited by the Internal Revenue Service. It makes him suspicious.
There was a day when we might have written off a claim like this. But given what we’ve learned about the IRS and its targeting of right-of-center organizations, the burden of proof has shifted.
Though the scandal is no longer making headlines, the questions about what was going on with IRS official Lois Lerner and her pals have never been answered. Meanwhile, the storyline fed keeps changing.

The IRS will have complete access to all of our health and financial information under Obamacare, and it has already demonstrated the willingness and ability to use that information to promote the Democrat’s political agenda. The so-called scandal hasn’t touched the IRS and it’s become even more defiant in the face of the media’s refusal to publicize the unprecedented abuse of power. IRS = KGB.
Speak out and the fascists sic the irs on you. We do not live in a constitutional republic. We live in a fascist dictatorship. Americans resist that thought. We have been taught since school that this is the land of the free, etc etc. It’s a hard reality to swallow.
