On Thursday, President Obama launched into yet another broadside against Republicans over the government shutdown while in campaign mode in Rockville, Maryland speaking to a construction company. Oddly, after veering off teleprompter, he likened Republicans shutting down the government to striking workers shutting down a business: “Everybody here does their job, right? If you’re working here and in the middle of the day you just stopped and said, ‘You know what, I want to get something, but I don’t know exactly what I’m gonna get, but I’m just gonna stop working until I get something, I’m gonna shut down the whole plant until I get something, you’d get fired.” Except that they wouldn’t. Obama, a constitutional law lecturer at the University of Chicago, apparently forgot about the National Labor Relations Act, which explicitly bars employers from firing striking employees.

It isn’t any wonder why the Harvard Law grad and former President of the Harvard Law Review turned to community organizing instead of presenting arguments in a courtroom (like Ted Cruz having been a prosecutor).

I LOVE IT when Bammy goes off TelePrompTer! I just WISH the whole country would hear about all of them. He only reads other peoples words well from a TelePrompTer. Highly intelligent?? Not even close. I would really enjoy hearing from anyone who sat in his lectures at the U of Chicago. I used to respect that institution....... I went there a lifetime ago.

When speaking off the cuff his unplanned responses are almost always something we expect from a person who grew up in a foreign culture - a person who has a different world view and value system.
In those unguarded moments his speech patterns and comments are something we might see from a movie character playing the role of a Cold War commie spy.
Whatever is in his brain - it’s not American.

In real life - something I hope Yobama will experience soon - a strike usually occurs after BOTH parties fail in negotiation and consequentially agree to meet again during the strike. When one side says, “I won’t negotiate”, that party is said to have “bad faith”. In government, that party would be called a dictator.
Time for the unions to join the Republicans.

If Bush or Palin made a gaffe of this magnitude, we’d never hear the end of it. But with the MSM covering for Obama, most people will never hear it at all.
