TRENTON — Sarah Palin, the former Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska governor, is set to become the latest conservative to endorse Steve Lonegan in New Jersey's special U.S. Senate race, The Star-Ledger has learned.

She must think he may win because she is very careful to endorse and rarely is wrong. I am stunned that Booker may lose.
Latest poll has Lonegan closing at 6%.
Being a Black candidate is hard to overcome.
I wish we would all get involved in this race more. It seems to be totally forgotten. With the Obamacare debacle starting we should be able to push this guy in like we did Scott Brown.
Also, Lonegan’s been running ads for years promoting conservative causes, and seems like far more of a Tea Party candidate than Scott Brown was. Not to mention, there are few Dems that would be more fun to send to an embarrassing defeat than Booker, since he’s the looney left’s new loverboy.
The RNC is giving Lonegan no help. These people are useless.
Sure he is closing. He was always going to close because he had zero name recognition. Booker has a floor and lonegan has a ceiling. Unless live boy dead girl comes up Booker will get min 53%. Booker has a lot of Money too and the RNC bailed on race.

Also Lonegan must think her positives will help more than having Booker running against a ‘Palin’ candidate would hurt. Which Booker would certainly try. Praying for low turnout and overconfidence! Encourage all those furloughed NJ Fed ‘workers’ to take out of state vacations then!

Good news. I don’t know how many followers Sarah might have in NJ, but even if not many if the race tightens it could make the difference.
I’m worried that it might turn off more voters than it gains. This is Jersey we’re talking about, not Missouri or Texas.
