bikers aren’t usually vicious
maybe the driver flipped them off
So, what happend to the driver?
I apologize, now that I have read it, the bikers are complete outlaws and all should go to jail
The cager has the advantage over any number of marauding bikers, but he has to be willing to use it.
Let’s see, a 4000lb SUV vs a bunch of 300 lb bikes.
The motorcyclists are lucky that it wasn’t other people driving. There are a lot of guys who would use the weight difference to their advantage.
Sounds like something out of a 3rd world country
More to this story than is printed. Me thinks the owner of the ‘’Range Rover”( a necessity in the city...../s) had an attitude about bikers and just had his attitude adjusted.
Too bad it didn’t happen in Texas.
These rice-burner idiots would be stacked up like cord wood.
With those helmets, impossible to be sure, but they might be a bunch of blacks. “Upper Manhattan” has several different populations, but a good bit of it is black, from Harlem on north.
I once was driving home on the West Side Drive fairly late at night, in Upper Manhattan, and a black guy on a motorcycle passed my car, swerved in front of me, and suddenly jammed on the brakes. There was at least one other black guy on a bike behind me.
Instead of stopping, I swerved left and took off. I had no interest in a confrontation with a black guy in a black part of town, and I figured maybe he wanted to rob me or steal my car.
Of course, this is purely speculative. A couple of faces look black in these photos, but that might just be the shadows of the helmets, and the photos are too small to see very well.
I believe its all staged. No true biker would ever put his bike in danger. Its an attempt to discredit the 2 Million bikers that came to DC on 9/11 and to create the new equation in the press: bikers=bad.
I think the driver did fairly well up until he got caught in traffic.
Too bad he didnt have a gun to shoot the guy swinging his helmet at him. The bikers were obviously looking to cause trouble.
That’s what firearms are for, to even out uneven numbers...he should’a been carrying.
Feral punks on wheels. I hope the law is making good use of this video.
The video footage was posted on YouTube.

The driver initially stopped,
but fled after the group of bikers began to damage his vehicle.
Police say the bikers caught up withe the driver, beat him up, and slashed his face.
The driver of the SUV was the only injury reported.
He was taken to Columbia University Medical Center, where he received stitches for the face wound and was released.
No arrests were immediately made, police are still investigating the incident.
This should be an interesting thread, pro-bikers, anti-bikers and just about everyone in between will have some malformed opinion about this.
Suffice to say, that I rode motorcycles of almost every type for close to 30 years, until I gave them up for my “health” (ran off the road too many times to count).
Yesterday, driving back from a Scout hike in the Sierras on the US395, dozens of bikers...Harleys, imports, etc. No matter what type...all riding like complete A$$holes.
Cutting drivers off, passing in no passing zones, passing on the shoulder, forcing drivers to make decisions they shouldn’t have to, and on and on it went. Even when I, as an ex-rider gave some room for riders to get around me, I got the finger and was cut-off for my courtesy as a “thank you”.
Why do I share this anecdotal evidence? Because there’s a “new breed” of rider out there. One I don’t want to be associated with.
So the riders will bitch about the cagers and the cagers will do likewise about riders. The age old yarn about who is more evil than the other still goes on.
What I find interesting is that the video is from a helmet cam of one of the ‘bikers’.
Love it!
