"I think every incumbent owes it to the grassroots activists of their state to make the case why he or she should be reelected.

He owes Cornyn exactly duck squat. Cornyn is a traitor to anything conservative. He’s just up there playing “show-vote” games trying to have his country club power and the likeability of a turk back home. Lies and Subterfuge, that’s all.
PRIMARY HIM!

Cornyn will soon have plenty of time to go dove hunting with his close buddies.
Dewhurst and Perry will both be out of jobs.
We will find another Ted.

You could put a stop to this, Smith said of grassroots unrest. If the grassroots are restive try responding to their complaints rather than trying to gull them with phoney votes a la Cornyn.

Typical liberal.....split the party more and highlight it. Now it’s Cruz’s fault that Cornyn is less liked? Seriously? Cornyn’s behavior as nothing to do with it? PUhleeze

Moderator Evan Smith, the head of the Texas Tribune, said that the junior Texas Republicans failure to endorse Cornyn had inspired tea party activists to call for Cornyns head. You could put a stop to this, Smith said of grassroots unrest. Endorse him right now. Will you do it?
It appears the head of the Texas Tribune has a vested interest in the re-election of Cornyn. Anyone surprised?

The Texas Tribune is not fit to wipe with. Why should Sen. Cruz even speak to such Leftist rabble?
To: jimbo123
Isn't it remarkable that an unknown can burst upon the scene and by virtue of his talent, charisma, and right thinking on the issues capture the imagination of the nation and leave the senior senator in his state gasping for air because this rookie declines to endorse him. So far Ted Cruz has never put a foot down wrong as far as I can determine, he has kept his balance in the face of serial attempts to Bork him.
Let Senator John Cornyn stand in the shadow of this rookie and look smaller every day.

Ted Cruz, the junior Senator from Texas, who hasn't even put in a solid year on the job yet, now holds the power of life and death over the senior Senator's political career.
The wind is at our backs, folks.
