It’s a proposition not without risk and one with a history of last-minute accommodations on both sides. Brinkmanship between Obama and congressional Republicans has often stopped at the precipice’s edge.
In this round, however, the president and his aides maintain that when it comes to raising the government’s borrowing authority and meeting its debt obligations, there’s no bargaining. To conservatives wishing to undo the 3-year-old health care law in exchange for an increase in the nation’s credit, Obama on Friday said bluntly: “That’s not going to happen.” …

I normally change the channel on the tv or turn down the volume on the radio when I know he’s coming on. But I did watch him for about 30 seconds tonight on Hannity.
It is so effin’ hard to believe that this individual is the president.
He and his crony Reid won’t talk to the weak rinos but Obama grovels to get a phone conversation with the Iranian president. Makes a weak fool out of himself yet again. I’m ready to go grow rice in Rong Kart where I won’t hear about this crap.

Let me see if I get this:
Obama is willing to negotiate with anyone on earth up to and including those who from the bottom of their hearts desire the complete destruction of America and everything it stands for and was built upon, but he will not, absolutely, deal or negotiate with the other major party of this nation, all of whom are Americans and descendents of Americans or of those who gave up everything to become Americans, and with whom the majority of Americans agree or, at least according to the polls, appear to agree.
And we are to believe of this man, this president, what?
Let us stipulate for the moment that Obama is not Muslim, not Socialist, not an enemy of the American experiment and ideal. The question then becomes what would a president who is Muslim, who is Socialist, who is an enemy of the American experiment and ideal do differently?
What are we to believe of this man?
Quick! Somebody call Putin. Only he can walk this back.

I remember B0 saying this in a presidential debate.
“Sea Quester? That’s not going to happen.”
“The money is on the table Obama (minus ObamaCare). Take it or shut it down. The choice is yours.”
I doubt the “read my lips” Republicans could even handle a simple offer like that.
