Criminal case on "assaulting the sea-platform 'Prirazlomnaya" is open

Our North-Western department has opened a criminal case on probable violation of the part 3 article 227 of the Russian Criminal Code "piracy committed by an organised group".

The investigators have claimed that a group of people, probably associated with the "Greenpeace" international ecological organization approached the sea platform "Prirazlomnaya" on the ship "Arctic Sunrise" and attempted an illegal descent onto that platform. Their illegal action was foiled by officers of the Murmansk province's border-guarding department of the FSB.

We must state that the ship 'Arctic Sunrise' used by the persons who attempted an illegal descent onto "Prirazlomnaya" was in the exclusive economic maritime zone of Russia, and the Russian Criminal Code is in effect in that zone.

When a ship is stuffed with electronic equipment of unclear purpose and a group of persons pretending to be members of an international ecological organisation attempt a de-facto assault of a sea platform we have justified doubts on their real intentions. We expect ecological organisations' members to be aware that a maritime oil-drilling platform is an installation of above-usual danger and any unauthorised actions could lead to an emergency threatening not only the people happened there but the environment of the whole province as well.

I claim that all the persons who attempted the illegal assault onto the platform will face criminal charges in spite of their nationalities and we will conduct every legal action strictly adhering to the Russian law and the international treaties of the Russian Federation.

The Head of the Department Mr. V.I. Markin

They were up to no good in trying to get on that oil platform. They should be prosecuted

What were they trying to do, anyways? Destroy the platform? Spill millions of tons of oil into the ocean, killing life they claim to preserve?

These people are so f’kd up, a psychiatrists wet dream. Did their boat have a “clean” engine? Did they all run on hamster wheels below deck to keep the lights on or what? Dirty filthy stinking hippies preaching to everyone that our energy needs are bad. Do they think that their lifestyles don’t lead to exactly what they protest against? Do they think their electricity comes from a magic little hippy farm where everyone just farts out electricity? They must know that electricity comes from COAL OR NUCLEAR POWER.
What about the plastic they use, or the tires on their bikes, or the iphones in their pockets. What about the “vegans” that have leather wallets. Disgusting people.

Actually, the charge should be terrorism. The same charge should be used for hyper aggressive in-your-face gay and lesbian groups that terrorize businesses and individuals supporting their own political or social position.

I could live with that charge. Econuts are the only breed on the planet that would destroy an oil platform “for the good of the environment.”

The neo-con Trotskyites and the Soros propaganda machine will play this incident as another example of Putin the KGB thug attacking peaceful protestors. If the Greenpeace commies go to jail, we will read that Russia sends political opponents to gulags. If any of the Greenpeace commies fall ill, it will be the result of Putin sticking them with an plutonium-tipped umbrella.
