Reps have voted 35 to 40 times to defund Obamacare. This vote is nothing more but another weak attempt, Reps don’t have the backbone to carry through it.
Once again, I would rather you be right than me. But what you have shown so far is not evidence that the 2014 mid terms will be any different.
The “good guys & gals” are not in the voting majority, so I see no evidence that 2014 will be a repeat of 2010.

We were “positve” in 2012 Obama was toast. Didn’t happen.

If you say so I guess. Not sure exactly how reality will make them reverse their views about gay rights. Like I said most of them have friends or family members that are gay. They don’t have an issue with it. No real place for that to go really as they’re against child molesters and rapists regardless of sexual orientation.
They just think government should stay out of peoples bedrooms.
I do believe that the official GOP stance on gay issues is going to become more libertarian.

I do appreciate everyone’s bravado and fight, I really do, but none of that is evidence that our side will prevail over the non thinking voting majority.
All I see is Reps being dragged into voting against Obamacare, not ones walking in the house willingly and happily. All I see is establishment Reps fighting other Reps who are trying to do the right thing. I see spineless collaborators. I see, for the most part, an inactive TEA party.
Far more evidence that Reps will fold that rebound to the positive energy of 2010.

I don’t think anyone is going to make you personally accept it.
I do expect gay marriage will be recognized. I don’t expect the military to ever ban gays agin.
I think the millenials are more pro environmental issue.
I don’t know either way what their view on age of consent is. I don’t personally know anybody who has a desire to lower the age of consent though.

“Peaches” is the mode I switch to when someone disrespects me by telling me to leave a site. I made no previous unkind statement to this person other than having a different opinion. I meet disrespect with disrespect, it’s a reaction to bouncing around on liberal sites for 5 years.
As for the rest, we are in agreement. Establishment Reps do not want TEA party people or Libertarian ideas injected into the moderate, spineless Republican party. It gets in the way of surrendering to the Democrats.
We need more Ted’s and Rands, but unless the TEAtarians pull off a coup d’état in the Rep party, nothing will change.

Sorry about that bad grade in reading comprehension you got back in elementary school — I was agreeing with your point about Fox not being conservative. Various lib-progs use “Faux News” as their insider snarky way of referring to Fox having a conservative bent and therefore being fake/faux.
I suspect John Cornyn via “Dirty” Dewhurst, the Texas Lt. Governor who got his ass kicked by Cruz for KBH’s senate seat.
Fox News uses conservative pitches and guests to draw viewers in so Rove and other RINO’s can guide the viewers to the official party line.
RINO’s and Democrats do fight each other so Fox tries to help the RINO side while the other media favors the Democrats.
The sad truth is that the RINO’s in power move this country to the Left just like the Democrats, except at a slower rate of speed.
I don’t get too excited about the RINO-Democrat fight anymore because its all for show and meaningless.
